How to Break a Generation
Raised half online, they never got the opportunity to become fully social beings. As multiple studies have shown, this equates with alarming deficits in empathy and self-confidence, and higher rates of depression and anxiety. And it’s only in recent years that anyone has gotten serious about trying to monitor what kids are exposed to online.
In the real world, these kids were taught that they mattered more as representatives of some group identity than as individuals. If they thought they were thriving, they found out it’s only because they were in a privileged group. If they were having problems, it was because they were in a disadvantaged group, and that was their lot. In either case, there was little room for personal agency.
At the same time, their personal discomfort was considered an intolerable condition. Every challenge was a threat. Even speech could harm them. They were ushered into therapy, diagnosed, and medicated. Some, it turned out, were discovered to have been born in the wrong bodies. This designation was to be celebrated while it turned their lives into a sci-fi nightmare.
But there were other competing nightmares to deal with. Climate change was forever on the verge of making the planet uninhabitable. Democracy was dying, while fascism waited in the wings.
Then came Covid, disruption of what normalcy they knew, complete social isolation, and years lived entirely online.
By the time Gen Z were delivered into the hands of the revolutionary professoriate, they had been sufficiently broken down and were ready to be remade. AI could cover their day-to-day responsibilities while they devoted themselves to the propaganda on their screens and in their classrooms. All that was left was for them to go out into the world and finally be something.

The Police Found Messages After Kirk’s Killing. What They Mean Is Unclear. - The New York Times
The messages on the casings are not much more revealing.
One of the messages, “Notices bulges OwO what’s this?,” is often used to mock participants in online role-play communities. Another message said, “If you read This, you are GAY Lmao,” its tone suggesting a kind of sophomoric insult humor common on internet message boards.
Then there was the message that read, “O Bella ciao, Bella ciao, Bella ciao, Ciao, ciao!,” likely a reference to the popular Italian folk song “Bella Ciao.” Popularized as an antifascist anthem in Italy after World War II, it resurfaced globally in recent years because of its inclusion in the hit Netflix series “Money Heist” and in video games, including the first-person shooter game Far Cry 6.
The song is still well-known as antifascist. It was sung as a protest last year by progressive members of the European Parliament during a visit by Viktor Orban, Hungary’s far-right prime minister.
But a number of people noted online on Friday that a version appears on a Spotify playlist meant for Groypers, the followers of Nick Fuentes, the white nationalist who occupies a political space to the right of, and in opposition to, Mr. Kirk.

The last few days our host country in South Asia has seen great turmoil.
It's
a critical time to pray for this country. Anti-corruption riots, arson,
and looting are taking place in cities across the country, esp the
capital. The prime minister has resigned, politicians have fled by army
helicopters while their houses are being burned. Protesters have
overtaken the grounds of the primary government offices. Yesterday the
police opened fire on youth that were protesting corruption and the
recent nationwide shutdown of all major social media access. 19 were
confirmed dead as of last night with 150+ being treated for serious or
critical injuries. That is what ignited today's riots and total unrest.
Big
hotels, businesses, and prestigious schools are also being targeted
with looting and arson because they are owned by family members of
government officials who are the power players and allegedly guilty of
decades of corruption.
The situation is very bad. It's curfew
and lockdown with tires burning on major streets and violent crowds
going about their vigilante justice. The airport is closed, schools and
businesses have all closed. Social media access continues to be blocked
except for workarounds like VPN's. This has been brewing for years with a
strong majority of people in the country complaining about bad
governance, bribery, scandal, entrenched political entities, cronyism,
injustice, etc.
This uprising is being credited to the Gen Z
youths, but it appears others are taking advantage of the situation to
accomplish their own purposes (ie, several jails were broken into and
prisoners set free).
Now
a new government has to form, and nobody knows if that will be better
or worse. We have to pray that God will bring about His purpose and
redemption on the other side of all this evil.
Pray
that all the churches in this country will come together in greater
unity to pray for God to pour out His Spirit and save this country and
people.
Pray for righteous leaders to come into power.
Pray for justice and mercy.
Pray for the people to open up to Jesus as their savior and hope.We don't feel that we are in any direct danger. We are just staying home in our quiet neighborhood and praying.

The Poland Drones
What we know is that we are told about them. The Shahid and Geran drones
are 2 different animals, they look similar and the Geran Drone is a
spin off of the Shahid with lots of improvements.
These drones uses encryption, Russian GPS systems and inertial navigation.
There
is no way to capture the drone because of encryption but the
communication can be jammed by flooding the airwaves with radio
frquency.
Now, those
drones can be easily replicated, they are made of 2 upper and lower
shell with a propeller and a cheap 2 stroke engine.
As far I know it can be replicated easily as a dummy drone, also maybe nothing and they are reporting a lie

It's the douchebag airman again Luis. I'm glad you really enjoyed the Florida ounces story, that happened about 5 years ago and still lives rent free in my head!
This last show you guys discussed a note about the "forgot password" situation and it got me thinking about the Gen Z kids in my shop. In the air force we use nothing but Microsoft Officer products and a lot of these ZEDs are just so used to using tablets and iPhones that when they sit on a computer, it's like a foreign language to them! The sitting and staring at the screen is very commonplace. It's like they forget how to read and function when in front of the computer. Them asking "okay what's next" and Im sitting next to them reading the text on screen which tells you exactly what you need to do next! I don't know what to call this phenomenon but it's extremely frustrating.
You both are right on the money with your assessment and I wanted to add this: the ZEDs traditionally did not grow up with a computer in the home. When I ask these kids they always say no. They had their phones and tablets that did everything and it makes sense that they have no idea how desktops work! My sister is a ZED and she never was on the computer, just my parents and I used it and it's something I noticed but never put them together so both of you are right on the money. The few ZEDs that have any clue are the gamers, and they primarily play on PC now and they are wizards. They build them and know the ins and outs so there are a few out there that do know!
