John C Dvorak: We're leading the
way up.
0:01
Adam Curry: Adam curry Jhansi
Dvorak July 30 2023 This is your
0:06
award winning nation media
assassination episode 1577.
0:10
Unknown: This is no agenda. All
eyes
0:14
Adam Curry: on Africa and
broadcasting live from the heart
0:16
of the Texas hill country here
in FEMA Region number six in the
0:19
morning, everybody. I'm Adam
curry
0:21
John C Dvorak: and from Northern
Silicon Valley where I forgot to
0:23
take the phone off the hook so
anything can happen. I'm John C.
0:27
Dvorak.
0:29
Unknown: Buzzkill.
0:33
Adam Curry: Yeah, I mean even
even that just the opening
0:36
whenever you hear podcasts it's
someone says I forgot to take
0:39
the phone off the hook you know
you're getting some modern stuff
0:44
there's no boomers on this show.
phone off the hook people like
0:50
what what is it? What phone what
what does it do? What the
0:55
John C Dvorak: what? What even
what does that? What does that
0:57
even
0:57
Adam Curry: mean? I don't even
understand what that means. like
1:00
a broken record. Yeah. Ah, yeah,
man. Oh, man. There's a lot
1:08
going on again. I'm so excited
about today's show. Why? Because
1:13
it's like the mainstream media
is our US media is almost doing
1:18
nothing although I think that
distraction is nice share. But
1:24
there's a lot of African news
all over the place a lot of
1:27
stuff going on that brain
1:29
John C Dvorak: transfer they get
a move very are throwing money.
1:32
They've already we've already
given them all the ammo and arms
1:35
and stuff from Ukraine. Yes. And
so they're loaded to the gills
1:39
but we have to give them more
once things start getting heated
1:42
Yeah, I don't know. What are
what we're what we're going to
1:45
get out of this.
1:47
Adam Curry: Well, nothing the US
is losing. I mean, it's
1:51
John C Dvorak: like moving
taxpayer money is what we're
1:54
losing.
1:55
Adam Curry: Definitely. I mean,
do you want to do Africa first
1:58
you want to start with Africa? I
mean, I
2:00
John C Dvorak: you know what,
it's funny we talk and talk and
2:02
talk about Africa and and I
don't think I have one clip
2:04
about Africa. But like I
2:06
Adam Curry: you know, Africa, we
got to ease into the show if if
2:09
people here phone off the hook
Africa they're not gonna listen.
2:12
Like
2:14
John C Dvorak: something more
amenable.
2:15
Adam Curry: I got something
let's talk about well, okay,
2:18
let's start with the military.
Kardashian new. unglued. Well,
2:22
hold on a second. It's funny you
mentioned that because see,
2:25
where's my real news? And now
back to real. Oh, yeah. Oh,
2:31
yeah. Real News baby
2:32
Unknown: Taylor Swift concert
has reportedly caused record
2:36
breaking seismic activity equal
to an earthquake. According to a
2:40
local seismologist Swifties
showing so hard during the
2:45
Seattle leg of the singers
current tour, it caused the
2:48
equivalent of a 2.3 magnitude
quake. Seismologists were
2:52
piecing together the time codes
with the largest seismic
2:55
activity of Swift quake and
found the greatest commotion was
2:59
during her songs blank space. Of
course, shake it off.
3:03
Adam Curry: That's right, baby.
3:05
John C Dvorak: famous songs
3:06
Adam Curry: and times are near.
There's the earthquakes we've
3:10
been waiting for to toe
3:11
John C Dvorak: tappers.
3:13
Adam Curry: The BBC even had
news. But wait, wait, well,
3:16
John C Dvorak: this is weird.
When was that story because I
3:18
understood that she was here
yesterday. Oh, just meant she
3:21
did these two, two shows in San
Francisco at the at the chase
3:27
center. And I was under the
impression by from the local
3:31
news that this was their first
and second stop of her arrows
3:35
tour. I must have been misled.
3:39
Adam Curry: Well, who knows?
This is this is earth shattering
3:42
news. Literally. The BBC News
Hour did a minute 25 on
3:48
Unknown: it. Such was the
enthusiasm of the crowd's
3:50
reaction to a concert by Taylor
Swift.
3:52
Adam Curry: The Eros tour er O
S.
3:56
John C Dvorak: I think this one
is called
3:58
Unknown: the American city of
Seattle last weekend. I was last
4:01
weekend that it produced genuine
seismic activity.
4:07
John C Dvorak: Again, last week,
and this weekend, she's here.
4:11
Yeah. And I was under the
impression by our local news,
4:15
dudes. Yeah, that this was her
first and second, stop first and
4:21
second. That doesn't sound like
first and second to me, is one
4:24
of those things where every city
she goes to, hey, I'm here at my
4:27
favorite city. Cleveland is the
whole bowl crop. Is that what
4:31
I'm getting out of this?
4:32
Adam Curry: By the way, it's the
Eros tour era s arrows. Tour.
4:39
Let's continue the BBC News
report.
4:40
Unknown: This was the sound that
came from the lumen field
4:42
stadium when the global pop star
was on stage.
4:48
Adam Curry: Wow. Sounds just
like every concert I've been to
4:51
ever this is this is the worst
native ad that could have come
4:55
up with
4:59
Unknown: nearly 70,000 fans
simultaneously shaking it off
5:03
with Taylor Swift Amy is
measured as a 2.3 magnitude
5:07
earthquake. According to
seismologists Jackie Kaplan, our
5:11
back is one of the geologists,
geologists behind this study.
5:14
And she explained her findings.
So let's,
5:16
Adam Curry: let's talk to the
geologist,
5:18
Unknown: I went and looked at
the data and holy heck, I mean,
5:21
heck, I looked at the data there
was this odd,
5:24
Adam Curry: holy heck. Holy
heck, what is this? Holy heck
5:28
Unknown: no. Like that. Again, I
went looked at the data and holy
5:32
hell, there was a signal from
both Saturday and Sunday night.
5:38
And what jumped out was that
they were just identical for
5:42
four hours, the ground shook in
the same manner for four hours.
5:46
And at that point, it was like,
Well, clearly what we're
5:49
recording is a concert. And from
my perspective, there's kind of
5:52
two things that could be a, it's
the music itself. The other
5:56
possibility is that it's the
crowd, and the crowd is going to
5:59
dance to that same rhythm, and
they're going to sway and they
6:02
were singing and as many people
who are at this concert,
6:06
Adam Curry: excuse me, lady, if
they're swaying, that's not
6:08
going to give you any seismic
activity. It's when they're
6:11
going jumping up and down. Yeah,
like
6:14
Unknown: how does get a dance to
that same rhythm and they're
6:16
gonna sway and they were singing
and I've talked to so many more
6:20
at this concert to talk about
how the whole stadium show
6:27
Adam Curry: Well, it certainly
is it certainly is a new take on
6:30
the old concert promotion deal.
6:33
John C Dvorak: Hold on a second.
This is what's interesting about
6:35
it. This is a week ago before
the first and second here in the
6:39
Bay Area. But they stole the
debate what's what areas known
6:43
for earthquakes more than
California? No, no, I was not
6:48
only not not so they took the
California gimmick took it from
6:55
up from under us and did it up
in Seattle now we can do it. So
7:00
we didn't get any of these
earthquakes stories down here.
7:02
This is news to me that this
even the story. So we got
7:05
screwed out of a gimmick or
somebody got screwed out of a
7:08
gimmick because the whole thing
is a scam. That story's
7:12
bullcrap. And just story down
here that this the first and
7:15
second stop is bullcrap. Listen,
by the way, they showed they had
7:19
a lot of these ads about this
concept of they would go into my
7:23
media buy. I take it back, it
wasn't a chase center was down
7:26
at the 40 Niners stadium down in
Santa Clara. And so they had all
7:31
these train cars going to it and
back. And there were these
7:34
girls, this districts are loaded
with these Swifties Swifties and
7:39
there'll be like one guy who is
smarter smart enough to get in
7:42
on it with this shit eating grin
on his face.
7:48
Adam Curry: Here's why they're
doing this. Okay, okay. So
7:52
Seattle got the Swift these
everything's good. They got the
7:54
earthquake. California gets this
and another
7:57
Unknown: reminder of an aging
Congress happening during a
8:00
subcommittee hearing yesterday,
when at nine year old Dianne
8:03
Feinstein was called to vote,
but instead began an awkward
8:07
speech.
8:08
It provides 823,000,000,008
comes
8:12
to her side interrupting her
just say aye.
8:15
Okay, just
8:21
Adam Curry: your representative
is so brain dead. I got a longer
8:25
report from CNN this. This was a
beautiful moment, particularly
8:28
coming after coming after Mitch
McConnell. Oh, it's all sad. By
8:33
the way. I feel horrible for
these people, that they're being
8:36
propped up and held in office
just to keep a seat warm and
8:39
barely that
8:40
Unknown: this morning Concerns
are mounting about the
8:42
capabilities of some of the
oldest members of Congress at 90
8:46
Democratic Senator Dianne
Feinstein is the oldest us
8:49
lawmaker. She has been in frail
health since a shingles
8:52
diagnosis earlier this year.
Since her return to the Capitol.
8:55
She has appeared confused at
times, including yesterday when
8:58
the senator had to be corrected
and told to vote during a Senate
9:02
hearing. Colorado Senator
Feinstein.
9:19
I would like to support a yes
vote on this. It provides 823
9:27
billion That's an increase of 26
billion.
9:30
Adam Curry: That's actually
interesting. This report has a
9:33
little bit more in it. So she is
saying yes, she's speaking out
9:36
of turn but she this seems to be
some cognition because she says
9:39
yes I want to support this but
then she goes into explaining
9:42
why but she kind of knew what
was going on.
9:46
John C Dvorak: So no I don't I
think she I think that she was
9:48
just getting there was just
going from person to person she
9:50
thought it was supposed to say I
know is a vote obviously. Can I
9:54
say something about that report
if you're going back and you
9:56
don't want to play it again, but
she was falling apart beat For
10:00
shingles Oh yeah. Oh, but they
got to slip that in because
10:03
there's a vaccine there. We got
the
10:05
Adam Curry: shingles vaccine.
Good point
10:07
Unknown: like to support a yes
vote on this. It provides 823
10:14
billion That's an increase of 26
billion for the Department of
10:19
Defense. And it funds
priorities. Bag. Just say aye.
10:29
Okay.
10:33
It's a delicate conversation,
but it was not met is being had
10:36
more and more out and what are
you hearing from Senator
10:39
Feinstein's office? About that
moment in particular?
10:42
Adam Curry: Everything's great.
10:43
Unknown: Erica, it is a really
delicate conversation and it is
10:46
not delicate, not really Newt,
to the US Senate. There have
10:50
been senators in the past who
have had cognitive issues in the
10:54
US Senate. There are senators
who have aged here in a way that
10:58
really made it hard for them to
do their jobs. But Senator
11:01
Feinstein's office, reacting to
that moment in the
11:04
Appropriations Committee, the
senator was preoccupied, didn't
11:08
realize debate had just ended,
and a vote was called. And you
11:11
see that moment where her
staffer comes up to her whispers
11:14
in her ear, that it's time to
actually vote. And then you hear
11:18
Patty Murray, who's the chairman
of that committee saying, just
11:21
say, I
11:23
Adam Curry: just do as we tell
everybody else to do Diane, just
11:26
say aye. Aye. There's a term for
this
11:28
Unknown: questions have been
swirling surrounding the health
11:31
and fitness of the 90 year old
California senator and whether
11:34
she should continue in her post.
Meanwhile, Google searches for
11:38
the term gerontocracy, which
means oligarchical bull by the
11:41
elderly went through the roof
after Senate Minority Leader
11:44
Mitch McConnell seemingly froze
during a press conference
11:47
Wednesday. Currently, our
Congress is the oldest in our
11:51
history,
11:52
Adam Curry: whatever you do,
don't look at Joe Biden, because
11:54
he's fine. Everything's just
fine with that man. President
11:58
Biden.
12:00
John C Dvorak: So you know, part
of the problem is the seniority
12:03
system.
12:05
Adam Curry: Yeah, I mean, we
have a lower end, right? You
12:07
have to be you have to be count,
you have to be 25, at least or
12:12
what age you have to be to be in
Congress thing. It's not a
12:15
minimum age.
12:16
John C Dvorak: There is a
minimum age. But the problem is
12:19
that there's not going to make
it No, the problem is the
12:22
seniority system. If you're in
long enough, someone else, you
12:26
have a higher priority when it
comes to being on committees and
12:30
getting to choose this and that
and you get, you get more
12:33
privileges. Right, unless they
get rid of the end. So that's
12:38
why you keep these old farts in
because they know that they're
12:40
going to have a little more
power, it's going to represent
12:42
your state better. But they and
I don't know what quite to do
12:45
about that. You could get rid of
it. But then you'd have a lot of
12:50
people then newcomers ism
popular that come in. I think
12:54
the
12:54
Adam Curry: average the median
age of the American citizen is
12:57
35. I don't think I think it's I
think it's older.
13:02
John C Dvorak: We'll let you
know how we can find out.
13:05
Consult the
13:05
Adam Curry: book of knowledge.
Average age of American, okay,
13:13
let's very good idea
13:15
John C Dvorak: of median is
different than average. Oh,
13:17
median.
13:17
Adam Curry: So what are we
looking for the median or the
13:20
average? Look
13:20
John C Dvorak: at both.
13:22
Adam Curry: Okay, median age of
the US population. This is the
13:25
latest is from 2021. And that is
38.8 years, the 1960. It was
13:33
29.5. That's the median. Now
look at
13:37
John C Dvorak: the average age,
the average age is 38.1. So
13:41
almost
13:41
Adam Curry: the same. Hey, 38.1.
Alright, so she's almost she's
13:47
more than twice as old as the
median and and average age. So
13:51
yeah, I know we have Mitch
McConnell brain freezing.
13:56
John C Dvorak: We still haven't
got a good explanation for that.
14:00
Adam Curry: I think it was a
mini stroke. That's what it
14:03
looked like to me.
14:03
John C Dvorak: Yeah, that's what
I it's possible.
14:05
Adam Curry: Now. Something else
you mentioned the shingles in
14:08
the shingles vaccine. Of course
we're all cranking up and the
14:11
CDC has already said yeah, oh,
you better get ready Pfizer
14:15
moderna gonna have your special
shot for the flu season flu
14:17
season. I'm sorry, COVID season
that's coming up. We'll do it
14:21
all at one flu COVID RSV, it's
all gonna be in one. But
14:26
John C Dvorak: again, I would
say it one more time. I never
14:29
heard of this disease my entire
life till about a year ago.
14:33
Adam Curry: A lot of moms know
about it. And it's and they've
14:36
known about it for longer than
you and I have the much longer
14:41
you and I have heard about it
but still, I'm with you. But
14:44
something else cropped up and it
just be just flew on to the
14:47
radar, which makes me
immediately suspicious.
14:51
immediately suspicious because
we got emails about it. And then
14:55
I just see the news is blanketed
with this story. CDC
14:58
Unknown: is sounding the alarm
about the growing number of meat
15:01
allergies linked to tick bites.
Nearly half a million Americans
15:06
have been affected since 2010.
It starts when someone is bitten
15:09
by what's called a lone star
tick. Scientists say a life
15:12
threatening allergic reaction
can be triggered when the victim
15:15
eats red meat or dairy products
which contain the same molecule.
15:19
Adam Curry: Okay, you want to
say something?
15:22
John C Dvorak: This story is
old. I've sent it to the people
15:24
who sent me emails. I think I
first heard about the story
15:28
three years ago. And it came it
cropped up and then it
15:32
disappeared completely. And the
reason I know it's both in
15:35
particular as because Jays old
boyfriend, who used to hang out
15:42
here was allergic to beef in
that same way. And I thought,
15:47
and then when this story came
up, I equated it and he hasn't
15:50
been around for years on end. So
it's like this story is at least
15:54
three years old, if not older.
And I don't know why they
15:57
brought it back in as though
it's we've noticed this over the
16:00
years to be some story that that
was told a year 235 10 years
16:06
ago, languishes and then is
brought back as though it's new.
16:11
I
16:11
Adam Curry: think there's
something else going on with
16:13
this because I've done a little
bit of the researches. And the
16:17
it's the blanketing of the media
that made me suspicious because
16:20
yes, you're right. The stories
come back around I recall, we
16:25
might have even talked about
Jays ex boyfriend emphasis on x
16:29
because you know, he can't have
a non meat eater in the Divorce
16:31
Act family get out. So three
years ago, it also almost makes
16:38
sense.
16:38
Unknown: A new summer Health
Alert tonight about a rare red
16:41
meat allergy linked to ticks,
the CDC calling an emerging
16:45
public health problem and
warning cases in the US are on
16:49
the rise. We'll get more from
her her email lists.
16:52
For months during sport all
suffered extreme joint pain and
16:56
fatigue. It took me a year and
four different doctors to get a
17:00
diagnosis. And that diagnosis
was Alpha gal syndrome,
17:04
typically caused by a bite from
a lone star tick that tick
17:07
bite leads to an allergic
response to the alpha gal sugar
17:13
that's found in red meat. And
after you eat red meat, then you
17:16
develop the allergic reactions.
17:18
Doreen says now she's also
allergic to dairy and even
17:22
gelatin. And according to a new
report from the CDC, out of 1500
17:27
Doctors surveyed 42% had never
heard of alpha gal syndrome, and
17:32
35% said they weren't confident
of their ability to detect or
17:36
treat it. Symptoms include
hives, itching, abdominal pain,
17:41
vomiting and chest tightness.
The CDC says Alpha gal syndrome
17:46
traditionally found in mid
Atlantic states is spreading
17:49
110,000 suspected cases have
been identified since 2010. But
17:55
experts estimate the true number
affected is closer to 450,000.
18:01
The challenge is getting to
those primary care frontline
18:05
providers that are seeing
patients and having them become
18:08
aware so we can speed the
diagnosis.
18:11
Doctors say use tick repellent
do frequent checks and keep to
18:15
trails to avoid the kinds of
precautions Doreen has to take.
18:19
Is it fair to say that this has
changed your
18:21
life? Anything I put into my
body I have to monitor
18:26
a call for awareness of an
illness understood far too
18:29
little.
18:30
Adam Curry: Okay, so this at
first, you know, there was some
18:33
thinking and some producers even
emailed me saying hey, maybe
18:37
this is the Lyme disease. And we
know the Lyme disease was
18:40
created in the Plum Island. But
it's you know, we went to
18:45
America's favorite Doctor Dr.
Jenn that seems to be not true.
18:50
Unknown: We're back now with
America's favorite Doctor
18:51
doctors. And today we're talking
about a tick bite associated
18:54
with food allergy and why it's a
growing public health concern.
18:57
What do we know?
18:58
Okay, so the CDC is putting out
this health alert for
19:01
clinicians, people in the
medical community and also for
19:04
the public. And let me walk you
through this because you hear
19:08
red meat allergy, and it gets
can I get confused? Yes, this is
19:12
a new entity. It's an allergic
reaction caused by a tick bite
19:17
of a human so lone star tick
which is found in the eastern
19:20
southern and central US and
starting to spread some other
19:23
places as well bites us. When it
bites us. It passes along an
19:28
enzyme, a sugar molecule that
then our body sees as foreign.
19:33
Not a problem except that we're
exposed to that same sugar
19:36
molecule in meats in dairy and
some other products as well. And
19:41
then what happens our body says,
I recognize that before is
19:45
foreign. Now I'm going to set
forth and trigger a huge immune
19:49
response allergic reaction so it
can give you the hives the GI
19:54
issues the swelling of the
tongue anaphylaxis in some
19:57
cases, and the CDC is saying We
are not on the lookout for this
20:02
a lot of doctors don't know
about it, that's gonna No
20:06
question think of it or identify
it you can test for with a
20:08
simple blood test. But people
also need to be aware of this
20:12
because they might be having
these signs or symptoms after
20:14
eating three to six hours later
and not understand why.
20:18
Adam Curry: So okay, now the
kind of throwing me on a on a
20:22
false sent here by saying it's a
sugar molecule. Okay, I'm not so
20:28
sure. But I'm looking up this
alpha gal stuff. That's alpha
20:32
dash GA L. Interestingly, once
you really start looking for
20:37
alpha gal, they don't put it in
the medical documentation as the
20:42
word Al PHA know that just use
the alpha symbol, which makes
20:47
your search a little more
difficult, visible, pretty much
20:51
Unknown: and different from Lyme
disease, completely different
20:53
tick borne illness. But we've
talked about before, how many
20:56
different illnesses we can get
from ticks. This is the new kid
21:01
on the block. And so it needs to
be
21:03
alright, we're watching him,
we're paying attention
21:05
and prevention is key is key
21:07
Adam Curry: best advice from the
doctor backing? Everything up,
21:10
prevention is key Hold on a
second. So I go looking at alpha
21:14
alpha gal syndrome. And then I
find this little ditty. This is
21:19
on nih.gov. And it's a it's a
approved paper. And it says the
21:28
antibody response to the Gly can
so I guess glycans is where they
21:34
get the sugar molecule from as
an glycosuria. Get whatever.
21:39
Alpha gal correlates with
COVID-19 disease symptoms. Hmm.
21:46
So say what are the chances do
you think? Oh, yes. Oh, yes.
21:51
Here it is. Some medications and
vaccines may contain small
21:55
amounts of alpha gal containing
additive stabilizers or codings.
22:01
Dude, I think they're covering
up for some more. Another bad
22:08
reaction to the vaccine. This is
in your vaccines, not just the
22:16
COVID vaccine. I mean, well,
22:17
John C Dvorak: this would
account for the reemergence of
22:20
it as a new Yes,
22:21
Adam Curry: exactly. Like okay,
well, of course, we can't do
22:26
that we have to tie it to red
meat. And as you know, red meat
22:30
is the climate change
22:31
Unknown: out to an important
health alert. Today, the Centers
22:34
for Disease Control is warning
about a potentially life
22:37
threatening red meat allergy
caused by tick bites. The report
22:41
estimates 450,000 People may
have contracted the disease
22:46
known as alpha gal syndrome. CBS
says Meg Oliver reports. The
22:50
alert comes as health officials
reported cases of tick borne
22:54
diseases are rising.
22:56
Last year 53 year old Carmen
Stan Gupta began suffering from
23:00
fatigue, muscle spasms and
slurred speech
23:03
right months of testing. Six
different doctors from primary
23:07
neurologists, ear nose and
throat endocrinologist,
23:10
the father of four from New
Jersey was finally diagnosed
23:13
with Lyme disease from a tick
bite that didn't show the most
23:17
common symptom of Bullseye like
rash.
23:19
You know, there's good hours and
bad hours. It impacts all the
23:23
things you take for granted that
you do every day.
23:24
Other symptoms include
headaches, fatigue, and muscle
23:27
aches.
23:28
Every summer we see an increase
in tick borne diseases.
23:32
Dr. Laurie handy says the number
of ticks and tick borne
23:35
infections Nationwide is on the
rise, likely due to climate
23:39
change
23:40
can survive in different areas
because it's warmer, so that can
23:45
lead to more infections in
humans.
23:47
To prevent an infection. Doctors
recommend wearing long clothes
23:51
and using bug spray with DEET
changing and showering once
23:54
home, checking your body in a
full length mirror and throwing
23:58
your clothes in the dryer. Turn
it
24:00
on high and if any ticks remain
on the clothes, they'll they'll
24:03
just kill that
24:03
after about 10 minutes.
24:05
If you do find a tick, you
should grasp it with tweezers
24:07
close to the skin and steadily
pull it out. The majority of
24:11
tick borne infections are easily
treatable with antibiotics.
24:14
I really truly hope that I can
just help one other person 10
24:19
Other people this is really been
quite an experience. Yeah
24:23
Colliver,
24:23
CBS News,
24:24
Adam Curry: I'm just not buying
it. I think that this is related
24:27
to either COVID as a bio weapon,
because literally of this, this
24:33
NIH study, the antibody response
to Alpha gal correlates
24:38
correlates with COVID-19 disease
symptoms. And then there's
24:45
another PubMed
24:47
John C Dvorak: publisher doesn't
include gastrointestinal at all
24:50
stream that this is our or
allergy to
24:53
Adam Curry: red meat, red meat,
a new synthesis of galactose.
25:01
For gene delivery, but I am not
a scientist I'm not a medical
25:05
doctor. We have a lot of people
who are producers who listen
25:09
dive into this people let's find
out what this alpha gal thing is
25:12
because it seems like it's in
vaccines and it's affecting
25:15
people and they're blaming it on
red meat because why not? What a
25:20
great opportunity. But really if
you listen you
25:24
John C Dvorak: got a lot of it
wrapped up in one you got to
25:26
read meet people off or read me
to have meet bugs. You've got
25:30
the climate change angle and
then you have the name of the
25:33
thing itself which is alpha gal.
Yeah. Which introduces you
25:36
trainers mouse.
25:40
Adam Curry: Alpha Gao, dude Gao.
Exactly. And as predicted after
25:46
we played the speech that was
broadcast on our very own show
25:51
day.
25:52
Unknown: What do you need to
know right now on GMA three
25:55
global boiling has arrived?
Yeah,
25:57
John C Dvorak: baby. The message
kosher me three the worst, by
26:02
the way.
26:02
Adam Curry: So obvious the
message like Hello, I'm Antonio
26:05
guitarras. We are the era of
global warming as over the era
26:08
of global boiling is here. Take
it ABC take it take it
26:13
Unknown: as call it top
headlines. I'm calling it hot
26:15
headlines. And that's exactly
what we're gonna begin today.
26:17
The alarming warning from the UN
as the summer heat continues to
26:21
cook, the Secretary General
calling this the era of quote
26:24
global boiling, with July said
to be the hottest month ever
26:28
recorded. Look, we are all
feeling it. 150 million
26:31
Americans are under coast to
coast heat alerts today. With
26:34
the severe weather threat across
the Midwest, there is some good
26:37
news. So really, finally, cooler
temperatures are expected as we
26:40
turn the calendar page into
August, especially in the
26:43
southwest, the Rockies and the
Northeast. Actually, I
26:47
Adam Curry: got to go back to
the pharma people for one moment
26:50
because I got a call from a
friend of mine. And he he gets
26:55
some some medication from a from
an Austin compounding pharmacy,
27:00
which if you're going to get
anything I recommend going to a
27:03
compounding pharmacy because you
know, that's the they don't put
27:06
alpha gal in your stuff as far
as I know. And, and he called me
27:10
and he said, Hey, thank you so
much. For all the talking you've
27:14
been doing about ozempic Because
two doctors recommended I get on
27:19
this you know he's maybe he's
pre diabetic, but he definitely
27:24
could lose a few pounds. And and
he went to his compounding
27:28
pharmacy. They have since this
pretty much since the the big
27:33
rush started for ozempic. The
compounding pharmacy has had
27:38
60,000 inquiries, for some
semaglutide They had to hire a
27:43
call center. That's how crazy
this is.
27:48
John C Dvorak: That's why
advertising or doing any such
27:51
thing on television is bad
27:53
Adam Curry: guess and this drug
is also as we've been saying, Be
27:58
careful because it's off label
and everyone is pushing it in
28:02
Hollywood. You might die now to
28:04
Unknown: our new may cover story
and the drugs being used for
28:06
weight loss like ozempic are
making headlines again. ABC News
28:10
Medical contributor Dr. Darian
Sutton is here with reality
28:13
check. Good morning, Dr. Syed
and always love. So there are
28:17
reports of people experiencing
so called stomach paralysis.
28:21
What is that? And what do we
know about these times?
28:24
So good morning Janae. So
stomach paralysis associated
28:27
with these medications ozempic
And we'll go be so one of the
28:30
methods that these medications
work is that they slow the rate
28:33
at which food empties out of the
stomach or they have something
28:36
called gastric delay. This helps
with feelings of fullness and
28:39
helping to suppress appetite.
Now we're seeing these isolated
28:42
reports of patients who are
suffering from stomach muscle
28:45
paralysis, where food cannot
empty out of the stomach. We
28:48
define this as called
gastroparesis, and it can be
28:51
associated with symptoms of
abdominal pain, bloating, acid
28:54
reflux, or GERD and severe
nausea and vomiting. And tonight
28:58
I've taken care of patients who
suffer from this diagnosis it is
29:01
absolutely brutal. Patients
often come in with severe
29:04
dehydration and electrolyte
abnormalities and many have so
29:07
their symptoms are so difficult
to control that they have to be
29:10
admitted to the hospital. But in
the larger studies we have not
29:13
seen an increased rate of
gastroparesis comparing those
29:16
who use these medications to the
general population. So we'll
29:19
still have to wait and see if
there's any identification of
29:22
cause and effect but I think
it's important to acknowledge
29:24
John C Dvorak: the Homina Homina
Homina Horton
29:26
Adam Curry: to acknowledge me
while I was go back to red meat
29:28
because that's the real that's
going to kill it right meats
29:30
gonna kill you but not the not
the ozempic own Hulu this Oh
29:34
good. That's all good. In the
UK, they are now that there
29:43
seems to be Now this I would say
this is Pfizer marketing above
29:46
everything. But the European
Journal of heart failure has
29:55
published a paper saying a dose
of Maderna is COVID jab, jab,
30:02
injured the hearts of about 3%
of the people who received it.
30:05
This is a Swiss paper. And it's
an accepted paper.
30:11
John C Dvorak: Isn't that
unacceptably high?
30:14
Adam Curry: I would say it is.
And it's so it's not the Pfizer.
30:19
It's the Maderna. Then
unfortunately,
30:22
John C Dvorak: Melissa CIA drug,
British
30:24
Adam Curry: Prime Minister,
Rishi Sunak, invested $500
30:27
million of his private funds
into Maderna through a company
30:32
one of his vehicles called Phil
Lima partners in the Cayman
30:36
Islands, which has now come out.
And after he did that he stated
30:40
in Parliament, the vaccine was
safe and effective. Yeah, I
30:45
wonder how long he'll be Prime
Minister. Let's see if this
30:48
pops. Let's see if maybe, come
on. They always want to get rid
30:52
of their prime ministers. They
always want to get rid of him.
30:55
John C Dvorak: Yeah, but he's
still the parliament that
30:57
chooses him. So it's not like
they vote him in
31:01
Adam Curry: the meanwhile we
have the guy who did real drugs
31:04
finally coming well, not
finally, but coming out and
31:07
saying it. Bobby The K. Did a
really interesting interview on
31:13
math Hoffa, which is a bunch of
black dudes in a barber shop,
31:18
podcast. It's got a good
podcast. He was talking to moe
31:23
about it most as he he's now
doing a tour through the black
31:27
spaces. And he said, Remember,
remember, this is a big problem
31:31
for the Democrats if they don't
want him because he's grabbing
31:35
black American vote, like crazy.
Because if you go to any
31:39
traditional black American home
on the wall, you will see three
31:42
portraits. Can you name the
three?
31:46
John C Dvorak: You'd have?
Martin Luther King? Yep. John F.
31:49
Kennedy. Yep. And who's the
third? Well, I think a lot of
31:54
would have Malcolm X. Donald the
31:57
Adam Curry: third, Jesus would
be the first one. Oh, Jesus,
32:01
MLK, and JFK. And he, he is
talking their language. We'll
32:06
see.
32:07
Unknown: You asked about your
addiction issues. I've never the
32:15
only presidential hopefuls I've
ever heard, admit that he used
32:19
any kind of barbituates with
Bill Clinton talking about
32:22
smoking weed, and he didn't
inhale. But you're in hell, for
32:26
sure. That's partly what I'm
talking about. Like you're very
32:31
open about the fact that this is
a part of your history. And
32:34
before the interview really
kicked off. You talked about
32:36
having a hole? Yes, yes. In your
soul that you felt like shout
32:40
out to Aerosmith that you felt
like you couldn't fill? Yeah. Is
32:44
that what caused you to?
32:47
Yeah, I mean, a lot of people,
you know, I've been going to 12
32:50
step meetings, I've probably
been to, I don't know, 20,000
32:55
people stories, and there's a
high percentage of people like
32:58
me who believe they were born
with the ejection. And then
33:02
there's other people who think
that they got it later on in
33:06
life that they crossed the line.
And once you say, once you
33:10
become a if you're a newcomer,
and once you become a pickle,
33:14
you can't become a cucumber
again. Once you cross a certain
33:18
line here, then you can't go
back. For me, I felt that kind
33:25
of lying empty hole from what I
was a little kid, my drug of
33:29
choice was heroin. So it was in
four weeks that I wish I had
33:36
been around animals my whole
life and given them hypodermic
33:40
needles. And it made sense to me
that it would be more efficient
33:45
to inject the drug. So I know I
did that I was addicted for
33:51
until I was 28 years old. And
then I got sober. I was trying
33:54
the whole time. I just didn't
know. I would go for weeks, I
33:58
would go for months. What was
the difference between? Well, I
34:01
got into a 12 step program. And
I had a spiritual awakening. And
34:06
it was like it was lifted. You
know, it was like it was like a
34:10
miracle as much a miracle. For
me as if I've been able to walk
34:14
on water.
34:16
Adam Curry: It's a whole
interview was really fascinating
34:18
is and I cut this up a lot
because he talks about the first
34:22
time he did he dropped acid and
then some guy said, Hey, had
34:26
some heroin and he did the
heroin. And he was injecting
34:29
heroin. But then someone said,
Hey, man, smoke, this crystal
34:32
meth, you'll feel great. And
we're smoking meth. I'm going
34:35
through the gamut of things. And
he talks about being arrested on
34:38
the airplane after he got off
the airplane where he was
34:41
actually on his way to, to a
clinic to to a detox for the 12
34:46
step program and to kick the
habit. And he thought one more
34:50
time. One more time in the
bathroom was he airplane. He
34:54
said that actually that was
really good for him because he
34:56
got arrested then it was all out
and then it was out in the open.
34:59
He said Good interview me what
he says is that I think it's in
35:04
this clip almost.
35:05
Unknown: What Snapchat of it?
35:07
Well, then I guess my
progression was very fast, is
35:11
always progressing always gets
worse. And I, my drug of choice
35:16
was heroin. So it was in four
weeks that I wish.
35:20
Adam Curry: I'm sorry. That's
the same clip. He said that he
35:22
got about, he got out of it with
a 12 step program, which is
35:26
closely related to God. And He
says, Yeah, religion, religion
35:29
stopped me right away. So you
should see the comments on this
35:33
YouTube video, people are loving
it. I loved it for different
35:38
reasons. I loved it for this
little ditty about Ukraine in
35:40
the military industrial complex
as he throws down the gauntlet
35:44
when
35:44
Unknown: Mitch McConnell was
asked about, well, why are we
35:49
spending 130 billion in Ukraine?
He said, Well, he said don't
35:57
worry about it, because that
money is not actually staying in
36:00
Ukraine is going to military
contractors. It's just going
36:06
over, you know, technically
going to Ukraine, but we're
36:09
actually just by going to
general person. Yeah, he's so
36:15
it's all American companies, and
that's good for our country. And
36:19
that's the rationale and over
there, they're killing Ukrainian
36:23
kids. So nobody here is gonna
complain because nobody hears
36:26
you know why we're watching the
coffins come home. So it's the
36:30
perfect word for the military.
They get to you know, get re up
36:33
their contracts. And you know,
and those are the people who
36:36
drive policy in Washington DC so
36:38
so is Mitch McConnell day.
36:41
He's part of them. I mean, Joe
Biden is day
36:44
because we live in a Joe Biden
when you say the military
36:48
industrial complex, I'm still
looking for names like where the
36:51
My Story
36:52
inulin Joe Biden, Anthony blank,
and those are the people who are
36:56
drought or driving.
36:58
Those those those three names.
36:59
Yeah, those three names.
37:01
Okay. So when you get in, Joe
Biden will go fire the other
37:06
guys is that
37:07
yeah, all of those, you know, I
will reorganize the CIA.
37:12
Adam Curry: Interesting. He will
reorganize the CIA about that.
37:19
John C Dvorak: Yeah, I wonder
what that refers to. I know they
37:22
have one JFK Jr. I actually have
a couple but I have the one clip
37:26
that I think is the more
important one. Yes, I know which
37:29
which has the when you play
stuff like that you explains
37:33
this one, which is the JFK Jr.
Security refusal clip
37:37
Unknown: and other election news
presidential candidate Robert F.
37:40
Kennedy Jr. Says the Biden
administration denied his
37:43
request for Secret Service
protection, and a Twitter
37:47
statement Kennedy cited the
assassination of his father
37:50
Robert F. Kennedy during his
1968 campaign. He said since
37:55
then, candidates for president
have been provided Secret
37:58
Service protection, but not for
him. He explained that the
38:02
turnaround time for filing a
request is usually 14 days. But
38:05
after more than 80 days of no
response. He got a denial.
38:10
Homeland Security Secretary Ella
hundra. Mayorkas said the
38:13
protection is not warranted,
Kennedy cited a 67 page report
38:17
from a protection firm which
detailed different types of
38:20
death threats and security risks
for him.
38:24
Adam Curry: What they what they
should have done, which I found
38:27
interesting because I looked
this up at secret service.gov
38:30
under the facts, Secret Services
authorized to protect the
38:35
president vice president
immediate families former
38:37
presidents have spouses children
under the until the age of 16
38:41
and major presidential and vice
presidential candidates and
38:44
their spouses within 120 days of
a general presidential election.
38:48
So that will be next year that
he can have that but I mean, he
38:52
clearly is being threatened. So
they should do it. And they're
38:55
not. No, they won't do. But they
should have just said that. I
38:59
don't know. I don't really say
they hate me. Amen. Everyone
39:01
gets it 120 days before
39:04
John C Dvorak: they shoot you.
Right. What you're saying is
39:06
from the public relations
perspective, the Biden
39:08
administration was told that
that little tidbit out of the
39:12
hat and said, Well, we would but
yeah, but no, they didn't
39:17
because they're assholes.
39:19
Adam Curry: Meanwhile, as I was
talking to moe about this, and
39:22
he says, he thinks the South
Carolina primary will be very
39:25
interesting. He thinks that
black America will come out for
39:28
Bobby The K.
39:29
John C Dvorak: Yeah, he mode
doesn't take into account the
39:32
rigging of these things. He just
doesn't.
39:36
Adam Curry: Well, he said it
will be very interesting. He
39:38
didn't. I think he does take it
into account. It'll be very
39:41
interesting. Well, it probably
will be. So yes, the rigging of
39:44
things is definitely there.
39:46
John C Dvorak: So I do have a
series of clips I got you know
39:49
that woman Stacy Plaskett. Yes,
yes, of course. She was the one
39:55
from Virgin Islands. Yeah. Never
heard of her before she net we
39:59
now we know she did. The sex
tape and she's well you know it
40:02
ever I don't know.
40:03
Adam Curry: I don't know if it
was a sex tape but it was
40:05
something weird for sure
shouldn't
40:07
John C Dvorak: have done it
whatever it was, but she was
40:08
she's useless. She's got no
vote, but she's there and she
40:12
likes to make a fuss nicer. I
wonder why they never brought
40:15
her on anything. I've never
heard of her. Well, she comes on
40:19
and does. What's her name? My
little redhead. MSNBC girl used
40:26
to be there. What's her name?
Saki. Saki.
40:30
Adam Curry: Before we go into
clips, we just have to
40:32
acknowledge something we can't
really show. I'm sure you saw
40:35
the clip of her staff are behind
her. All Adderall doubt, as far
40:40
as I'm concerned with big bug
eyes, miming her entire
40:46
monologue that she did there,
you know, talking about how
40:49
Bobby that Bobby that K was no
good. And he was a racist. And
40:53
he's a Jew hater. And the all
this stuff. And she and she
40:57
flubbed a line. And this, this
young woman behind her who was
41:01
with bug eyes is just you could
see her lips moving like she's
41:04
singing along with a Taylor
Swift song. She's doing every
41:07
single word. She probably wrote
it or she's there to maybe
41:10
that's her job. And she bounces
up and you said, you said some
41:14
senators and then Plaskett
corrects herself. You've got to
41:17
see this video if you haven't
seen it. It's creepy. So this
41:21
was written for her drilled in
she she flubbed the line and
41:25
that she had a handler there to
go and correct it an MK Ultra
41:28
victim. That's what she was MK
ologies
41:30
John C Dvorak: see her actually
ad libbing on Sasaki show. This
41:37
yeah, as you can see why it
actually makes sense. You can
41:40
see this pained look on pisaq
His face like oh, why did they
41:44
make me? So I only have like two
minutes of her. But I've divided
41:49
it up into four clips because
every statement she makes is
41:53
like God, some oh my god, are
you? What are you trying to say?
41:57
She's illiterate listen to this.
41:59
Unknown: Well, you know, first
of all, they want to talk about
42:02
censorship. That anytime you
point out untruths, you're
42:06
censoring. They're stopping
people from speaking.
42:13
John C Dvorak: So first of all,
she uses the word censura. Yes,
42:17
Su, since soring are two
different words. They don't mean
42:21
the same thing at all. No. And
then she says that if you speak
42:25
if you speak the truth to
somebody saying talking about
42:28
anything that's censoring them
somehow I don't know what she's
42:32
talking about. And that's when
the pained look starts showing
42:35
up on the psyches face.
42:36
Adam Curry: I can imagine that
she was ready to talk about
42:39
sense. Sure. And and she didn't
know is about sensor and she
42:44
maybe she was really talking
about censoring because since
42:46
you're no she
42:47
John C Dvorak: was taught no she
was talking about. She just
42:50
didn't know the words. Okay. So
let's go. There's part two.
42:55
Unknown: It's not that we're not
stopping people from speaking
42:57
people can speak.
42:59
John C Dvorak: It's not that
we're not not taught what? And
43:03
if she doesn't say no, she says
not.
43:06
Unknown: It's not that we're not
stopping people from speaking
43:08
Adam Curry: snots it's not that
we're snot snot sneaking, you
43:12
know, we're making fun of a
black woman from the Virgin
43:14
Islands is very bad.
43:15
Unknown: It's not that we're not
stopping people from speaking
43:17
people can speak. You can speak
43:22
John C Dvorak: all right, I'm
we're we're three.
43:23
Unknown: But we're also going to
give the American people the
43:26
truth so that they can have
science and facts and history
43:31
against wild outlandish claims
that the Republicans trying to
43:35
get.
43:37
John C Dvorak: What the
Republicans are trying to get
43:41
Adam Curry: hold on a second
those sciences. Let me hear that
43:45
again.
43:45
Unknown: But we're also going to
give the American people the
43:49
truth so that they can have
science and facts and history
43:54
against wild outlandish claims
that the Republicans trying to
43:57
get
43:58
Adam Curry: trying to get she
get or give.
44:01
John C Dvorak: No get. She said
the Republicans are trying to
44:03
get outlandish claims she's
44:05
Adam Curry: out of her league
and they're burning her. She
44:08
screwed up and they're burning
her. They're burning.
44:10
John C Dvorak: I don't think
they're burning her. I think
44:12
that is this was a blunder.
Okay, I don't think that they
44:16
knew that she was this bad guy.
I mean, could what's because
44:19
like, he's not into this at all.
She's just like, well,
44:22
Adam Curry: that's what they
thrown her to the lions put a
44:25
throw on the Saki show that
there'll be two morons together?
44:28
John C Dvorak: Well, all right,
I only have one last little bit.
44:32
Unknown: That's not only going
to keep them from going to the
44:34
polls, President vote or telling
untruths, but it's also really
44:39
very detrimental to the American
people. I want to hear that
44:44
again. That's not only going to
keep them from going to the
44:47
polls or suppressing vote, or
telling untruths, but it's also
44:52
really very detrimental to the
American people. She's speaking
44:55
Adam Curry: in the sound bites
man, she got nothing just saying
44:57
she got nothing, nothing. I have
a clip from her from the hills.
45:02
The Hills rising.
45:04
Unknown: Robby put her on there
to let me hear Stacy Plaskett
45:07
the delegate of the Virgin
Islands right you know it has
45:09
been front and center at these
hearings accusing you know, Matt
45:12
Taibbi of perjury accusing RFK
Jr of anti semitism. Stacey
45:17
Plaskett delegate of Virgin
Islands, trying to get Jeffrey
45:20
Epstein at her fundraisers as
recently as 2018, I believe the
45:25
year before he was, was arrested
again and died in in didn't kill
45:31
himself allegedly because of
suicide in prison. This was
45:34
someone with full knowledge and
awareness of his wrongdoing was
45:39
was courting his influence his
access to funds and two
45:44
important wealthy people.
45:46
Right Plaskett who originally
said that she wasn't really
45:51
aware that that he was donating
she was completely unaware of
45:55
his donations to her campaign,
which you know, then she had to
45:59
say in deposition last month,
it's just
46:01
a lie. Yeah, she was directly
you can see the emails from her
46:05
team saying oh, he's gonna be
there right as make sure he gets
46:07
a personal invite
46:08
not just for the political
dealings but was an attorney at
46:12
the tax firm that worked with
Jeffrey Epstein. So even before
46:14
she ran for public office, she
knew Jeffrey Epstein, but then
46:17
there's obvious documents where
she's asking that he be invited
46:22
to the events she was clearly
aware most likely directly had
46:26
been speaking with Jeffrey
46:28
Jeffrey Epstein had his own
agenda for the Virgin Islands he
46:31
wanted the sex offender policies
for the Virgin Islands changed
46:35
wonder why that could be.
46:39
John C Dvorak: For that you're
probably right
46:41
Adam Curry: for those of you who
are new to to sound a freedom
46:45
sex trafficking a leads
Congress, politics, judiciary.
46:50
Look up Boystown, the Franklin
scandal boys to
46:56
John C Dvorak: actually find
that find the documentary is
46:58
still floating around.
46:59
Adam Curry: Yes, the documentary
Channel Four documentary. It's
47:03
very good. Then it never aired
but it's definitely still
47:07
available out there. You might
have to go to Bridey on but
47:11
probably
47:12
John C Dvorak: dig, you'll find
it is a round. Unfortunately,
47:15
it's grown a lot of hair, which
is a term used in analog
47:21
broadcasting.
47:22
Adam Curry: Definitely,
definitely. You might if you're
47:26
in Europe, look up do through
DUTRO UX. Look at the
47:34
Netherlands, Belgium,
47:35
John C Dvorak: Belgium. If
you're in the Netherlands, look
47:37
up burnt down radio station
thanks to Adam curry. Show.
47:44
Adam Curry: I'm trying to live
here. Alright, so there was a
47:48
big now I think we can do it.
There was a big Russia Africa
47:52
summit. And, and well, a couple
of things happen. So we have
47:57
this Russia African Summit. And
I think the distraction the
48:01
distraction was this,
48:04
Unknown: we're gonna continue to
track the ongoing crisis in new
48:06
shear, as the country contends
with the attempted coup of its
48:10
democratically elected president
and we in the United States are
48:13
officially only calling it an
attempted coup still, because of
48:16
some legal reasons what it would
mean for our troops that are
48:19
there earlier today, the
presidential guard, which
48:21
barricaded President Bazoom
inside the presidential palace,
48:23
declared that their leader
General tianni was the new head
48:26
of state and that the country's
constitution has been suspended.
48:29
The group that calls themselves
the National Council for
48:31
safeguarding the country claimed
they will now exercise all
48:34
legislative and executive power.
And so while the leaders of this
48:37
attempted coup called on
international partners to
48:39
cooperate with the new regime,
and a new statement today, the
48:42
White House National Security
Council is calling today's
48:44
developments an unconstitutional
seizure of power, but they are
48:48
not calling it a coup, because
that would trigger us laws that
48:51
require the State Department of
Defense Department to cut off
48:53
all foreign assistance limit
military partnerships this
48:56
afternoon. The NSC again called
for President presumes immediate
49:00
and safe release.
49:01
Adam Curry: So I'm I'm thinking
this just might be a
49:05
distraction. So we don't talk
about the Russia Africa summit,
49:09
which included a number of, of
head honchos big ones I think I
49:14
have. Here's a little background
on the event,
49:18
Unknown: the Ugandan and
Zimbabwean president met with
49:20
Russian President Vladimir Putin
on Thursday on the sidelines of
49:24
the Russia Africa summit in St.
Petersburg. During the bilateral
49:27
meeting, Uganda's President
Yoweri Museveni invited Russia
49:31
to take part in oil exploration
in East Africa
49:34
John C Dvorak: with some neutral
oil, which wants to to export as
49:40
glory but also refine for the
East African market. For meta
49:48
Russian companies can also take
part in exploration of for more
49:54
oil in our area.
49:58
Unknown: Zimbabwe's president
and My sentiment goggle out
50:00
voiced support for Russia in the
conflict in Ukraine. The
50:04
Southern African country has
previously abstained from United
50:07
Nations resolutions criticizing
Russia's actions in Ukraine.
50:12
Zimbabwe is in solidarity with
the Russian Federation. In your
50:17
country special military
operation in the Ukraine. Is
50:23
current share of the Kimberley
Process certification scheme the
50:27
KPC Zimbabwe unreservedly
condemns the unjustified and
50:33
vindictive ban on the sale of
Russian demons on the world
50:38
market.
50:39
Adam Curry: I'm gonna check was
a couple JATC shows
50:41
Unknown: hidden has built a two
day summit that open Thursday as
50:44
a major event that will help to
bolster ties with African
50:47
countries, which he said was one
of Russia's invariable
50:50
priorities.
50:51
Adam Curry: Now this is
interesting because most venni
50:53
must have any musi vini. He is
the president of Uganda as we
50:57
heard from our boots on the
ground, Captain red beard of the
51:01
Space Coast. That's our guy.
That is our guy. Uganda is
51:05
supposed to be ours. We've got
him lock, stock and barrel.
51:08
What's he doing now? He's over
there with Putin. He's like em,
51:13
Dozois Hey, Putin. We got all
kinds of good stuff. I mean, you
51:17
hear they're building a nuclear
power plant the Russians, are
51:20
they putting up a big
laboratory? What kind of
51:23
laboratory that'll be that, Hey,
come on, take some of our oil,
51:27
that this this is not good. Now,
of course, Putin, the fat in the
51:31
pot a little bit.
51:32
Unknown: Thank you very much for
joining us here on TRT world.
51:34
So in the past 24 hours, Putin
has written off $23 billion
51:40
that's to African countries. He
has pledged free grains to at
51:45
least six African nations. What
exactly is Putin trying to
51:48
achieve here?
51:49
Adam Curry: What do you think
douchebags?
51:51
Unknown: Well, I think he is
trying to counterbalance the
51:54
Western narratives that Russia's
quitting the Green Deal with
52:00
Ukraine is endangering the food
security for for Africa. And
52:06
he's trying to prove that, that
he's actually doing everything
52:10
he can to increase that support
for Africa in terms of food
52:15
security, but more most
importantly, try to give them if
52:20
not in Russia, so that is
neutral site in more globally in
52:24
his competition and rivalry with
the West.
52:29
Adam Curry: Okay, so $23
billion, not not not something
52:32
to sneeze at. That means a lot
for some of these African
52:34
nations. And part of the deal
seems to be a peace deal not a
52:40
not a stop the war but a peace
deal. A truce, dare I say an
52:43
armistice, perhaps where the
demilitarized zone with Ukraine
52:47
and Putin is backing. Backing a
proposal,
52:51
Unknown: Russian President
Vladimir Putin is back the
52:55
African peace initiative on
Ukraine. Speaking at the close
53:01
of the Russia Africa forum in
St. Petersburg, Putin also
53:06
praised China's efforts to
finding a solution to the
53:10
conflict,
53:11
3d Chamilia, the guru
principalship because
53:17
I believe in general, the
initiative, in my opinion, can
53:20
be the basis of some processes
aimed at the search for peace,
53:25
the same as others, such as, for
example, the Chinese initiative.
53:30
Yes, they do not claim that
their initiative contradicts or
53:34
competes with others. In
general, that conversation was
53:39
long and substantive. We
probably talked for an hour and
53:44
a half. Everyone spoke on this
issue. I want to emphasize once
53:48
again, that it was from an
absolutely friendly position
53:51
that it was a real, real, real
search for some ways some
53:55
opportunities to somehow defuse
the situation. Really Poisk.
54:05
Pray the Russian leader also
brushed away a question about
54:08
why he will not be attending the
BRICS forum in South Africa in
54:11
August, claiming that is
presence at the summit is
54:15
irrelevant. Well, making no
mention of the arrest warrant
54:18
issued against him by the
International Criminal Court.
54:22
Adam Curry: Ah, there we go. The
International Criminal Court
54:25
this is what they've been trying
to set up for at least a year
54:30
where they have a warrant out
for Putin's arrest. And this
54:34
does not sit well with the E F
F, which is not the Electronic
54:37
Frontier Foundation. This is the
African South African opposition
54:42
party. And again, South Africa
should be ours. But oh no,
54:46
you've got this guy is dynamic.
He's got the they're all got Red
54:51
Berets. They're all like
militant. They're devout Marxist
54:55
that appears and he's in this
football stadium, which is at
54:59
that must be 50 60,000 people
there. And he was this guy who
55:03
just said this is the leader of
EFF the South African opposition
55:08
name. It's in this report. And
and he's saying boycott the
55:18
BRICS meeting because they're
trying to arrest Putin. Listen
55:22
to this.
55:23
Unknown: South Africa's radical
leftist opposition party eff
55:27
urge the leaders of China, India
and Brazil to boycott the
55:31
upcoming BRICS summit in
solidarity with Russian
55:34
President Vladimir Putin.
Speaking at an anniversary rally
55:38
for South Africa's third largest
party Economic Freedom Fighters
55:42
eff Julius Malema also denounced
Washington's pressure to turn
55:46
against the Russian leader.
55:48
We call on the president of the
People's Republic of China,
55:53
India and Brazil, not to come to
BRICS summit in solidarity with
56:00
President Putin. They must say
you touch one of us, you will
56:04
touch all of us.
56:08
During this speech to mark the
10th anniversary of the party,
56:12
Malema also turned against South
Africa's President Cyril
56:16
Ramaphosa.
56:22
Rama pasa, Rama pasa who could
not guarantee that we will not
56:29
put in, we are putting and
putting his eyes on who will
56:35
never support imperialism.
President
56:40
Putin's potential visit to South
Africa pose the diplomatic and
56:44
legal challenge for the South
African authorities as he is the
56:48
target of an international
criminal court arrest warrant.
56:51
There
56:51
Adam Curry: you go. So it seems
that Russia and China have a lot
56:57
of Africa and all we have is
Sudan, which of course we're not
57:01
hearing anything about. But I
have a nice little timeline from
57:07
Captain red beard. He says, you
know, there's a Russian naval
57:11
base in Sudan. No, I did not was
here. Here's a little timeline
57:15
August 22. A new ambassador is
appointed to Sudan, November 22.
57:21
Blinken suggest working with the
US ie get rid of the naval base
57:25
that from the Russians. February
23. Sudan finalizes the Russian
57:30
naval base deal. March 23.
Victoria Nuland shows up that's
57:35
when you know your country's in
trouble when Vicki's when Vicki
57:37
enters. Look out. Yes, one month
later, April 23. April 2320 23,
57:44
civil war breaks out in Sudan.
So this, this new Ambassador
57:52
John Godfrey, he was he was on
he had been out of politics, I
57:57
guess from for 25 years. He's
appointed as the US Ambassador
58:01
to South Sudan in August of
2022. The Sudanese government in
58:05
Khartoum was about to finalize
that deal with Russia for a new
58:08
naval base. So he's there to try
and, and record record all.
58:13
Blinken, of course, advise Sudan
against working with Russia.
58:17
Then we had Nuland go in
literally to discuss democracy.
58:23
And then the rebel commander
held talks with the US, UK and
58:27
Norway representatives in April.
And then of course, boom,
58:31
everything happens. This seems
to be our doing this, the death
58:39
in Khartoum is all us. And
that's all we've got is the
58:42
Sudan part. I don't think we
have much else. Russia seen
58:47
Russia and China seem to have
seemed to have the lock. And
58:52
Allah
58:52
John C Dvorak: does for an idea.
Okay. We're actually working
58:55
with Russia to keep China out of
everything. Well,
58:58
Adam Curry: I have a clip let's
see if that if that fits.
59:00
Unknown: Chinese President Xi
Jinping met on Friday with more
59:04
return yen President Mohamed El
Sheikh as one in Chengdu capital
59:09
city of southwest China's
Sichuan Province. The meeting
59:12
between the two heads of state
seal the cooperation between the
59:16
two countries in fields ranging
from the economy to education
59:20
and medical support. President
Chief thank the Mauritanian
59:23
president for his support
concerning China's core
59:27
interests. After the meeting,
the two heads of state witnessed
59:31
the signing of the plan on
advancing Belt and Road
59:35
cooperation. Also on Friday, the
Chinese president met maroon the
59:40
president ever raced and they
shimmy in Chengdu, the Bruneian
59:44
president is on an official
visit to China to attend the
59:48
opening ceremony of the 31st
summer edition of the Physical
59:53
World University Games during
the meeting the two heads of
59:57
state reinforce the links with
between the two countries and
1:00:01
also stressed the need for
increased cooperation. The
1:00:05
Bruneian president also
reiterated that his country
1:00:08
firmly adheres to the one China
principle and believes that
1:00:12
Taiwan is a part of China. The
Bruni side also announced its
1:00:17
support for the China proposed
the Belt and Road Initiative.
1:00:20
The Chinese President responded
by pledging continued support
1:00:24
for Burundi.
1:00:25
Adam Curry: So seems like China
was kind of on the outs they
1:00:29
have they got Brunetti. I don't
know how,
1:00:32
John C Dvorak: let's go back to
this theory that this is all a
1:00:36
scam. We're working with Putin
has started with William Burns,
1:00:41
visiting Putin just before the
Ukraine war broke out, then all
1:00:45
of a sudden the Ukraine war
breaks. No, no, no, he
1:00:47
Adam Curry: didn't because Putin
he visited. He didn't visit
1:00:50
Putin. Did he? Yeah. Oh, he did.
1:00:53
John C Dvorak: In that interview
that we played a couple of shows
1:00:55
ago, he talked about visiting
Putin. He's hard to listen to
1:00:59
because he's so boring, but went
to Russia and visited Putin. And
1:01:04
next thing you know, this
Ukraine was knew about it. And
1:01:07
in advance of the clip, we knew
it was going to happen. So I
1:01:10
went and talked to Putin. Here
we go. Let me play the clip.
1:01:14
Unknown: Do you see any real
threat to his position? Well, I
1:01:17
think there's an unease across
the Russian population right now
1:01:20
there's unease from some more
hawkish critics who are you
1:01:24
know, is this the one see the
conduct of the war as being
1:01:27
flawed? And then you have the
unease I mentioned before, you
1:01:31
know, lots of Russians and
military age young Russian men
1:01:34
fleeing the country as well so
I'm not trying to suggest that
1:01:37
that poses a grip you know,
threat to his grip on now. I
1:01:41
Adam Curry: don't think that's
it, but I
1:01:43
John C Dvorak: I believe these
are too long now. But so burns
1:01:46
goes over there. They set up
this scheme. The next thing you
1:01:49
know, you have other little
comments that come in all of our
1:01:52
clips. By the way, kind of back
this we just today, Mitch
1:01:56
McConnell being cited by Rf Jake
RFJ. Okay. Bobby's okay. Just
1:02:04
copy the key, which should be a
lot easier to say. Talking about
1:02:08
how this whole Ukraine money is
a scam, for all practical
1:02:13
purposes, is just being used to
put more money into our side of
1:02:17
the ledger. You have this? This?
We have Sudan, as you say, but
1:02:23
yet, Putin has got a Navy base
there. How's that work? Yeah, we
1:02:28
got this. Yeah.
1:02:30
Adam Curry: Well, what
everything
1:02:31
John C Dvorak: just points to
this whole thing being a giant
1:02:34
scheme to keep China because I
don't think Bucha gets along
1:02:37
with Zhi Jing ping.
1:02:40
Adam Curry: Well, that would be
quite interesting. If that was
1:02:44
true. That would be quite well,
Africa has again, why
1:02:49
John C Dvorak: is all of a
sudden Why is Russia all
1:02:51
involved in Africa? This has
never been the case.
1:02:54
Adam Curry: Where's Clooney? We
need Clooney to tell us what's
1:02:56
going on. They need to bring him
out. What you think?
1:03:02
John C Dvorak: I think he
retired.
1:03:04
Unknown: No, he
1:03:05
John C Dvorak: can't he was kind
of just came out with a new
1:03:07
spook movie.
1:03:09
Adam Curry: You got to get some
distraction. What was kind of
1:03:21
what's kind of interesting,
because the guy is impossible to
1:03:24
listen to most of any. I mean,
it's very difficult. And man,
1:03:28
his head is shiny. Holy crap.
Most of any that you've gotten
1:03:32
to present his head is
1:03:33
John C Dvorak: so shiny polishes
that you are noodle x looks like
1:03:37
it.
1:03:38
Adam Curry: So here's what he
here's what he said. Because he
1:03:41
started off with since the 1900
media we've been colonized.
1:03:44
We've been screwed. You know,
every every country in Africa,
1:03:48
he said except one country said
that wasn't that wasn't
1:03:52
colonized. We said one facet of
Neo colonialism and colonialism
1:03:56
was Africa being confined to
producing only raw materials
1:03:59
crops like coffee and minerals.
I can give you an example. He
1:04:03
said the global business for
coffee. Do you know what the
1:04:05
global business for coffee is?
is worth according to Mussolini,
1:04:09
it's gotta be phenomenally high.
$460 billion. Yeah, there you
1:04:15
go, since that's the value of
the coffee business in the
1:04:17
world. But those of those 460
billion the coffee producing
1:04:20
countries of the world share
only 25 billion, and of that
1:04:24
Africa only shares 2.4 billion
out of the 460 billion. So it
1:04:29
says the issue is the biggest
stunting factor why African
1:04:32
economies are stunted they do
not grow because all the value
1:04:35
was taken by other people
Germany earns more from coffee
1:04:38
than the whole of Africa,
Germany
1:04:40
John C Dvorak: or six oil
middlemen. They don't know how
1:04:42
to do business Germany
1:04:43
Adam Curry: earn six point 85
billion from coffee will Africa
1:04:46
only earns 2.4. This is doing is
buying and selling trading. Yes.
1:04:51
So what I want to propose to
Russia and China is to
1:04:54
discourage as a policy the
importing of raw materials from
1:04:58
Africa to instead work with the
US Africans to add value at the
1:05:01
source. This would within a very
short time, transform the
1:05:05
economies of Africa from low and
middle income to high and middle
1:05:08
income. Because we see from the
example of Uganda that
1:05:11
everything is depressed now,
production is high, but we are
1:05:14
still producing raw materials.
To which I think the American
1:05:17
answer is no, no, I
1:05:19
John C Dvorak: think they've
answered from China and Russia
1:05:21
has also no we can't have you do
it here. Nobody's gonna do that.
1:05:26
23
1:05:26
Adam Curry: billion. I'll give
you that and I'll be quiet, huh?
1:05:31
Well, it's there's just a lot
going on.
1:05:35
John C Dvorak: There's a lot
going up adding to my thesis
1:05:37
about Putin in the us working
together. It's interesting.
1:05:40
Let's just take the Wagner group
they wouldn't give them enough
1:05:43
ammunition to do any real
damage. They started to march on
1:05:47
Moscow because they're getting
irked they got wind of what's
1:05:50
really going on Yeah, and they
go they and then they said where
1:05:54
they ended up they sent him back
to Africa to kick to go down
1:05:57
there. Here's some free gold for
you. Get down there get out of
1:06:01
here. Johnny This is getting
more fishy by the minute it is
1:06:07
and it started my thinking on
this began was why the hell is
1:06:11
Russia give a shit about bro
about Africa why they all of a
1:06:15
sudden showing up and doing a
bunch of our because we can't do
1:06:18
it because we have a bad rep
down there.
1:06:21
Adam Curry: Well, who gets them?
I mean, the China gets the most
1:06:24
materials from from Africa,
1:06:27
John C Dvorak: which that's what
we're trying to prevent.
1:06:31
Adam Curry: Wow, that'd be
interesting. Interesting date
1:06:33
fellows. Hmm. Interesting bait
fellow
1:06:35
John C Dvorak: who would suspect
nobody nobody is us. All we do
1:06:39
is bitch about Putin.
1:06:43
Adam Curry: And we're turning
our turning our attention to
1:06:46
China, at least the military
industrial complex, just getting
1:06:50
to taste not that'd be good.
Just a little taste. We
1:06:53
Unknown: have learned this
evening that the Biden
1:06:54
administration is now planning
an historic $345 million
1:06:58
military aid package to Taiwan.
For the first time The White
1:07:02
House says the US will supply
Taiwan with military equipment
1:07:05
from American stockpiles. The
aid package reportedly includes
1:07:08
portable air defense systems,
intelligence and surveillance
1:07:11
capabilities, firearms and
missiles. The move of course, is
1:07:15
expected to draw criticism from
China.
1:07:17
John C Dvorak: Yes. How is this
new?
1:07:20
Adam Curry: I mean, new. This is
1:07:22
John C Dvorak: new. This is new,
they've given them stuff
1:07:23
forever.
1:07:24
Adam Curry: It's another bit of
money. They're publicizing it
1:07:28
now. That means that they're
moving. Look, if they're doing
1:07:33
look, if they're, if they're
giving him some luck, if they're
1:07:36
giving him 345 million publicly,
that means there's another 34
1:07:40
billion on the way
1:07:42
John C Dvorak: what is it? 345
is not the basic 400. Which
1:07:47
these are code numbers. 345 is
always a 400. To Ukraine's 400
1:07:53
and billion 400,000,000,004.
It's always fun to for foreigner
1:07:56
million foreign is something
just for to I'm with you. And
1:08:00
now it's 340. What is this?
1:08:04
Adam Curry: Now I'm with you on
that.
1:08:07
John C Dvorak: Hmm. Interesting.
Well, we just have to gently get
1:08:14
resolved, it'll get resolved on
your no agenda show as right.
1:08:18
Adam Curry: And we do we make
interesting predictions. You
1:08:22
know, ever since being at.io,
gotta refresh with the excellent
1:08:26
transcripts and everything
people are searching around. And
1:08:29
people will do things like, let
me see what those boys were
1:08:33
talking about exactly 10 years
ago. And there was something
1:08:39
very interesting August 1 2013,
Episode 535, I believe. Do you
1:08:48
remember what we were talking
about? It was actually it's a
1:08:49
prediction from you, which, in
hindsight, I think was not that
1:08:54
far off. Can you recall, but
we're talking about?
1:08:58
John C Dvorak: Recall, we talked
about three episodes ago. Here
1:09:01
we go, everybody,
1:09:02
Adam Curry: let's go back in
time. 10 years ago today,
1:09:05
John C Dvorak: I've been
thinking about this to what is
1:09:07
because we you have to you can't
guess this war. I mean, most of
1:09:10
these wars, you could are on the
80 year cycle. The wars have
1:09:13
been as follows right on the
numbers, there was American
1:09:15
Revolution, which was to get rid
of British occupation. Then
1:09:20
there was the Civil War, which
took place which I just
1:09:22
discussed a second ago, 80 years
later, and then 80 years after
1:09:26
that, there was World War Two,
which was a horrible war. So the
1:09:31
next cycle is 2020 There should
be a war but every I thought
1:09:35
about this every war that we've
had in this country, it major
1:09:38
cons, not World War One, which
was you know, we showed up, kind
1:09:43
of tipped the balance. The first
one was against an outside
1:09:46
force, the British Yep. The
second one was against
1:09:50
ourselves. We're just fighting
ourselves. The third one was
1:09:53
against Europe, essentially and
Japanese but it was it was it
1:09:56
was countries it was our country
versus the these countries.
1:09:59
Right What would be the fourth
one if it's going to be
1:10:03
different aliens
1:10:06
Adam Curry: that's that would be
my call this time I
1:10:10
John C Dvorak: think we're going
to fight against our own
1:10:11
government.
1:10:12
Adam Curry: Oh man How cool
would that be? That'll be
1:10:17
awesome
1:10:18
John C Dvorak: I never have
believed that my thoughts on
1:10:20
this including the cycle and the
years and and the coincidences
1:10:24
is singular I'm not some guy
that's over here I am not the
1:10:27
only guy think in this and let
me explain to somebody in some
1:10:30
think tank thinking the same
thing
1:10:36
Adam Curry: considering 2020
Black Lives Matter protests the
1:10:41
government locking us down hi
thank you we're pretty spot on
1:10:47
John C Dvorak: well the event
could also be the Ukraine war
1:10:50
we're not fighting against
anyone we just we just let
1:10:53
somebody else do all the work
Why
1:10:54
Adam Curry: don't you just take
the wind man Why are you going
1:10:56
to do that take
1:10:57
John C Dvorak: it I'm winning.
1:10:59
Adam Curry: Take the wind I we
sound a little different. We
1:11:05
sound a little a little more
energetic. It just me
1:11:10
John C Dvorak: any more
energetic now or then then then
1:11:13
I think we had more now. You
1:11:17
Adam Curry: had more energy
back? No, I
1:11:18
John C Dvorak: know. I have a
couple of clips that I designed
1:11:21
to lead us into a donation
saying
1:11:24
Adam Curry: oh well I'm all for
that. Let's do it. Remember, we
1:11:26
have our special guests today
along with the the Powerball
1:11:31
numbers Yes. The Powerball
1:11:33
John C Dvorak: numbers we're
gonna do that this time this
1:11:36
right last time we're doing
Powerball numbers. Yes. Okay,
1:11:39
here we go. Well, these are
these. This is chips for these
1:11:43
are employment tips that I
picked up off of one of his
1:11:46
shows. They had an interview
with a guy who's telling us some
1:11:50
stuff and I thought it was in
for information man that new
1:11:53
information has come to light
about this isn't a tip for
1:11:56
people who want to get work.
1:11:59
Unknown: Job seekers take note,
new research shows that
1:12:02
employees who are more
agreeable, make better
1:12:05
teammates. It's a trait that
hiring managers are seeking
1:12:09
right now. Why are they looking
for agreeableness? And what
1:12:12
other traits are they looking
at? And T's Colin Fredrickson
1:12:16
has more
1:12:17
hiring managers are looking for
people who are more agreeable. A
1:12:20
recent study found a high
positive correlation between
1:12:23
agreeableness and team
performance people who are more
1:12:26
agreeable are more likely to
cooperate and compromise with
1:12:29
their teammates, those with
1:12:30
higher agreeableness. You know,
they're more compassionate.
1:12:34
They're more trusting they're
more eager to help others. Yeah.
1:12:38
And those with lower
agreeableness, you know, more
1:12:41
competitive and skeptical
psychologist
1:12:43
Ryan Warner says highly
competitive people don't
1:12:46
necessarily make great team
members, they can make the
1:12:49
environment less inviting, and
trust also becomes an issue.
1:12:52
agreeableness is one of the big
five personality traits
1:12:55
openness, conscientiousness,
extraversion, agreeableness, and
1:12:59
neuroticism. This is a widely
accepted framework that's used
1:13:02
to assess differences in
personality. While we're going
1:13:05
through the screening and the
vetting process. We have several
1:13:09
tests that we run as well as we
have in house psychologists that
1:13:13
run interviews in order to look
for key traits. Raquel Gomez is
1:13:18
the CEO of Staffy, a firm that
evaluates jobseekers, she says
1:13:22
the Big Five personality traits
are a key metric for evaluating
1:13:26
potential hires the key traits,
she looks for conscientiousness.
1:13:30
This is very important. This is
a person's level of discipline,
1:13:33
organization and reliability.
extraversion for the confidence
1:13:37
to speak up. And meanwhile, she
always looks for low levels of
1:13:40
neuroticism, this generally
refers to a person's emotional
1:13:43
stability.
1:13:44
People that having high in
neuroticism is you know, overly
1:13:48
exaggerating on things that
happen they're not going the way
1:13:52
they're expected. Right? So
overly dramatizing.
1:13:56
I've got information man,
1:13:58
Adam Curry: new shit has come to
light vitamin, so you're just
1:14:01
supposed to be a suck up. Is
that is that the idea? What No,
1:14:04
you're
1:14:04
John C Dvorak: supposed to be
conscientious. Yes. And
1:14:07
agreeable, and agreeable and an
extrovert. Yeah, you speak up.
1:14:11
You have to speak up.
1:14:12
Adam Curry: Yes, I agree. Boss.
Yes. Yes. That's good. That's
1:14:15
good. Yes. Well, yes, yes. Go.
All right.
1:14:19
John C Dvorak: Yeah, no. Just
second clip. I'm gonna tell you
1:14:22
the one they left out and it's
really obvious to me but part
1:14:25
two.
1:14:26
Unknown: The recent study also
found that neuroticism decreases
1:14:29
team performance. It says high
in neuroticism leads to anxiety
1:14:33
and fear, which can impair
cognitive functioning, people
1:14:36
can learn more about where they
fit in in the Big Five
1:14:38
personality traits by taking
online assessments, doing self
1:14:42
reflection, or seeking feedback
from others. Experts highly
1:14:45
advise asking the people around
you because they can give the
1:14:48
best feedback about your
personality.
1:14:50
Adam Curry: How does this lead
into a donation segment is my
1:14:53
quest
1:14:53
John C Dvorak: because they left
out becoming a no agenda
1:14:56
produced there it
1:14:57
Adam Curry: is. And with that,
I'd like to thank you for your
1:14:59
courtesy. in the morning to you,
the man who put the C in the ICC
1:15:03
arrest warrant for Putin, ladies
and gentlemen, say hello to my
1:15:05
friend on the other end, the one
and only Mr. John
1:15:15
John C Dvorak: C Bucha. out
there.
1:15:19
Adam Curry: And in the morning
to our trolls who were
1:15:23
entertained by Darren O'Neil
this morning had a great
1:15:25
rock'n'roll pre strict pre show.
And of course, before that, we
1:15:29
had the Bluegrass show and
Sunday's are great here. I had
1:15:32
no agenda at all. Let me see.
Let me see how many we have you
1:15:34
put your hands down? Okay, I got
2356
1:15:45
John C Dvorak: Well, that's
hardly much more than we had was
1:15:47
less than we had to 2400 I think
we have no
1:15:50
Adam Curry: no, we had no we had
22 Nothing was 22 No, maybe it
1:15:54
was 2424. I think you're right.
1:15:56
John C Dvorak: I meant 24. Yeah.
So we're Dave gave up on
1:16:00
Adam Curry: disappointing
showing trolls. I don't know, I
1:16:04
don't want 2000 Trolls showman
at my house. So I'm glad they're
1:16:07
just thinking that as a troll.
And that's a good place for us
1:16:09
to be these guys. They're
listening to the live stream and
1:16:12
trolling along in the troll room
at troll room.io. Many of them
1:16:16
of course are using those swanky
modern podcast apps, you can
1:16:20
find them at podcast apps.com.
What's cool is if you're into
1:16:24
open source, and you don't want
to get stuff from the Google
1:16:27
Store, maybe you're using
graphene OS pod verse now does
1:16:30
notifications. If you get it
from F droid. I know it sounds
1:16:33
like a bunch of gobbledygook.
But a lot of people care about
1:16:35
this stuff. But wow.
1:16:37
John C Dvorak: Yeah. Even I
couldn't follow that.
1:16:40
Adam Curry: It matters. It
matters to a lot of people. But
1:16:43
there's, there's many, many apps
that allow you to listen to the
1:16:47
live stream will give you a
notification. And of course, you
1:16:50
can troll along in the troll
room. Or of course, if you want
1:16:54
to you can I'm saying of course
too many times, you can follow
1:16:57
us at no agenda social.com very
interesting conversation after
1:17:02
Thursday show with Eleanor, who
was somewhat perturbed by our
1:17:08
conversation about section 230.
And what we were saying about
1:17:14
section 230 of US Code 47 was,
hey, these companies, you know,
1:17:19
these Silicon Valley companies,
maybe we take away their section
1:17:22
230 I think that's what we were
saying. Yep, he took it as you
1:17:27
can't repeal section 230 There
will be no internet. And as I
1:17:32
was thinking about it, I'm like,
I don't think we said that. No,
1:17:35
I don't think we but but that
was that's what the conversation
1:17:38
ensued about that. And I was
kind of thinking, I mean,
1:17:41
obviously, there's stuff in
there about child child porn,
1:17:47
child trafficking, there's all
kinds of stuff in there. But in
1:17:52
general, I just feel like
because he said I can't run no
1:17:55
agenda social if we don't have
section 230 I said yeah, that's
1:17:58
right. And I don't think and I
say this respectfully, because I
1:18:02
love that he's doing it but me
not having these social networks
1:18:06
if we just had to go back to
everybody has a blog and an RSS
1:18:09
feed and you have a news reader.
That wouldn't be too bad. No one
1:18:15
I mean Well, I
1:18:16
John C Dvorak: think also
there's a misinterpreted let me
1:18:18
go over this for just one second
as a possibility. This is your
1:18:22
power 30 refers to specifically
sites like Twitter and
1:18:28
Adam Curry: it actually the the
language actually says any
1:18:31
computer information service so
it doesn't refer specifically No
1:18:35
John C Dvorak: I'm saying is
this what is assumed to mean
1:18:38
Adam Curry: Yeah, well in any
1:18:41
John C Dvorak: rolling chat room
for example
1:18:48
Adam Curry: falls under the I'd
looked up the
1:18:50
John C Dvorak: butt here but
let's take what is not covered
1:18:54
by section 230 email television
radio Yeah. That's not covered
1:19:00
by Tuesday yet on totally Matt
Wait, hold on a second.
1:19:03
Adam Curry: Are you okay? What's
going on something
1:19:05
John C Dvorak: weird thing just
cropped up on my screen? I can't
1:19:09
get it back. Oh, there it is.
Oh, please. Well, was it oh is
1:19:14
my OneDrive look back at your
memories that have cropped them
1:19:17
some weird icon or so
1:19:19
Adam Curry: we have to look at
your pictures.
1:19:21
John C Dvorak: Freaked me out
anyway. Okay, television and
1:19:25
radio so on, on. On Radio, they
have a five second delay that's
1:19:30
what they used to keep you from
cussing on the air do his job
1:19:33
but but occasionally once in a
while, like on a live show like
1:19:36
on ESPN, somebody will say fuck,
or they'll say shit. And they'll
1:19:41
just do that and they may or may
not get fined for that. It's not
1:19:44
as though spontaneity completely
disregard the face not
1:19:48
Adam Curry: worried about it's
about liability of someone
1:19:51
posting something that that is
libelous, or there's liability
1:19:54
for what they did criminal
liability, civil liability, tort
1:19:58
liability, and that makes Got
your company or no agenda
1:20:02
social, not liable, liable for
for something that that was
1:20:07
posted there, we still have to
take things down. And I think
1:20:11
the big part of section 230 is
that it is very broad and says,
1:20:15
Well, anything you find
offensive, or, or literally, if
1:20:19
you find that offensive, you can
take it down. And that's not
1:20:22
considered editorial. That's,
that's the rub. And that's why
1:20:28
you get censorship. Anyway, I
was just, I was just thinking
1:20:32
how podcasting works perfectly
fine. There's been no take down
1:20:38
at the source. I don't know if
any, that I know, podcasts have
1:20:43
been wiped down not from from an
app, but not at the source not
1:20:48
from the server or the hosting
company that hosts it is it
1:20:52
John C Dvorak: knows a bit
different, I've been may have
1:20:55
taken a podcast out of
circulation,
1:20:58
Adam Curry: right, but not under
Section 230. I'm just saying
1:21:01
that RSS feeds of doing and
being responsible for your own
1:21:05
stuff. This is this is what
happened to RSS. We had blogs,
1:21:11
we had newsreaders, and I got
attacked from two sides of one
1:21:15
side, everybody started doing
feeds. So instead of having a
1:21:19
feed in your news reader, with
all of a sudden you had a feed
1:21:22
on in your Facebook, that was
not the Facebook didn't have
1:21:25
that initially. Then they
created the feed. And then
1:21:28
Twitter had a feed, which was
based on RSS. In fact, Twitter
1:21:31
was a podcast company initially,
then Google said, Hey, we've got
1:21:36
a great thing for you to use.
You don't need to have by any
1:21:39
software use Google Reader. And
then was like, Oh, this is cool.
1:21:42
Google Reader is the best every
teenager had one everyone use
1:21:45
Google Reader. And then they
shut it down. And then and
1:21:49
that's how they killed it. And
then, you know, Google tried to
1:21:51
do there. What was it? What was
their initial thing? Was that
1:21:56
Spaces? What was their Google
1:21:59
Plus? Google Plus? Yeah,
1:22:01
John C Dvorak: for some reason?
1:22:01
Adam Curry: Yeah. So I'm just
saying that we could go back to
1:22:05
that, and I'd be perfectly
happy. I mean, there's not that
1:22:07
I hate no agenda. social.com at
all, is great. But a lot of
1:22:12
memes. Let's be honest about it.
No. I did it. We like to thank
1:22:22
everybody who supports the show
with value for value. It's we
1:22:27
pioneered this concept. And
we're very proud of it. Because
1:22:31
it turns out, if you ask people
to just support something with
1:22:34
the amount or the the value that
they would like to send back,
1:22:38
would they whatever value they
get out of the show, there's 96%
1:22:42
of people get no value from the
show, but still listen all the
1:22:45
time and do nothing. But there's
a small percentage that will
1:22:49
gladly do things. We have people
hosting meetups, we have people
1:22:55
putting up like that no agenda
meetups.com Void zero. With the
1:22:59
infrastructure we've got, Sir
Paul couture with no agenda, art
1:23:02
generated tons, tons of things
that people do lots of cool
1:23:06
stuff at being a.io, search
engine, all of these things. And
1:23:11
we put it under three
categories, time, talent, or
1:23:13
treasure. And we'll be talking
about treasure in a moment.
1:23:16
Because without financial value,
we can't move forward at all,
1:23:20
because this is all we do. All
we do all day is sit at home
1:23:23
mainly. And and sift through
stuff trying find the bullcrap
1:23:29
root that out, we deconstruct
all media, and we do it to spin
1:23:33
you down. In the spun up world,
we love our artists, we think
1:23:37
that it's very important to have
fresh art every single show, it
1:23:41
gets attacked attention, people
look at it and it gets attacked,
1:23:46
it gets attention. People are
always interested by it. They
1:23:51
wait for it, the cover art is
something that's good to post on
1:23:55
on those horrible social media
networks. And we want to
1:24:00
highlight the artist who we
picked on the last show. This
1:24:04
was episode 1576. We titled that
disease X, how can we not
1:24:09
because it's on the way it could
strike at any time. And it was a
1:24:13
dirty Jersey whore. And we had a
hard time selecting artwork.
1:24:18
There were some good pieces we
liked, but that broke many of
1:24:21
the rules. And please remember
that what you see on on the
1:24:26
website and what you even see on
social media, a big you know 512
1:24:31
by 512 image is not what most
people see in their pod in their
1:24:36
podcast app. So you have to have
certain elements just can't be
1:24:39
the you know, the gag can't be
too small. Now dirty Jersey
1:24:43
whore. Did an alien montage
1:24:48
John C Dvorak: where we had two
little UFOs this was a
1:24:50
compromise choice.
1:24:51
Adam Curry: There was compromise
but it's not like it was bad.
1:24:55
John C Dvorak: No we liked it as
as the compromise choice was the
1:24:58
choice was sniper For the little
comic book cover that was done
1:25:03
by man crush Yeah, but it was
just outrageously wrong in terms
1:25:08
of it's too small this too small
that it was as much as I liked
1:25:12
it, I couldn't really justify
it. You kind of like it came
1:25:16
from no agenda from QUB, the
noob, which is to me look like
1:25:20
mid journey. Ai art, which you
by definition reject. Yes, I
1:25:27
didn't, I like to, but it just
didn't look like I mean, we
1:25:31
don't have enough evidence that
it wasn't that it wasn't Yes, we
1:25:35
don't have enough evidence from
Kuba noob there's nothing else
1:25:38
like it in his portfolio. So we
have to assume this because I
1:25:42
know he didn't draw this
freehand to tie in the time
1:25:46
allowed. It's just not even
possible. And so that got
1:25:49
rejected even though it's a
beautiful piece
1:25:51
Adam Curry: and even looked at
global boiling, which was the
1:25:55
hot chick on the boiling beach,
but I was just it was too much.
1:25:58
It was too weird.
1:26:01
John C Dvorak: Remember that you
also like the network's beast
1:26:03
mode?
1:26:04
Adam Curry: Let me see what was
beast mode.
1:26:06
John C Dvorak: So when right
next to that when we picked I
1:26:10
think you liked it. I could be
wrong. It was a couple of
1:26:14
there's a lot of pieces that
were usable. Yeah, use Oh no. I
1:26:18
think maybe it's the global heat
index when you maybe like on
1:26:20
Adam Curry: like commerce or
bloggers alien, but yeah, well,
1:26:25
where's beastmode? I don't think
we saw Bheeshma Oh, no, I liked
1:26:29
global screaming. I thought that
was interesting. Calls from QUB.
1:26:33
The noob. The boob the noob the
boob? Yeah. For sure. Lots of
1:26:40
great artwork. I mean, oh, no.
We almost picked disease x by
1:26:44
Taunton. Neil. That's the one we
almost picked.
1:26:48
John C Dvorak: No, I was the one
I rejected that piece. You're
1:26:51
the one that was all in on it.
Just to be honest about it,
1:26:56
Adam Curry: it was a compromise
choice. And but we then you said
1:26:58
no, I want disease x as the
title, which kind of blows it
1:27:01
you know? What can you do? Well,
1:27:03
John C Dvorak: you want to
disease x as the title to Don't
1:27:05
blame me for the whole thing.
Oh,
1:27:07
Adam Curry: no, I'm not blaming
you for anything.
1:27:09
John C Dvorak: So the new The
problem with this piece is I
1:27:12
just thought it was simplistic
and it wasn't really didn't
1:27:14
there was not a there was a
little more artistic effort in
1:27:18
the piece by during that. It was
it was No, I mean, tenten yo can
1:27:23
do better than this.
1:27:25
Adam Curry: Yeah, we both
thought that, for sure. Thank
1:27:31
you very much to all the artists
we love that you do this.
1:27:33
Everyone can.
1:27:35
John C Dvorak: As we sit here
grouse about the artists,
1:27:37
Adam Curry: it's a service to
the artists artists will never
1:27:39
hear that when you're up for a
gig to do a commercial piece.
1:27:43
You're never going to hear why
you were rejected. You just
1:27:45
won't I'm not going to tell you.
No, you won't. You will never
1:27:48
know what you did wrong. And now
we're telling you right now so
1:27:51
we're right for that matter.
Exactly. So we do this as a
1:27:54
service and everyone can follow
along if you're listening live
1:27:57
no agenda art generator.com Or

1:28:20

1:29:33

19 or 2017 was 1970 Wow. And
1:29:40
quickly realized what you got

realize why it is in fact the
1:29:49
best podcast in the universe. It
is packed with so much
1:29:52
invaluable information and
insight as to what's going on
1:29:55
behind the curtain. I haven't
Mitch missed an episode sense.
1:29:59
This is why it broke my heart
when the my love called me out
1:30:03
for being the ultimate douchebag
with my full government name oh
1:30:06

1:30:13

the head and he wants a little
1:30:44

that actually from Joshua or is
1:30:48
it from the
1:30:50
John C Dvorak: someone and it
got switched to him and I think
1:30:52
he took responsibility and wrote
the note. Oh, very good.

been listening to the best
1:33:22
podcast in the Universe since
early 2020 after being hit in
1:33:25
the mouth by fellow aviator and
a friend of the show, Cody
1:33:29

1:33:35

I've flown alongside Dhotre in
1:33:39

too long 25 year Navy career. I
1:33:45
recently had an overnight during
one of my airline trips and
1:33:48
Adams backyard Austin. It was
there I was hitting the mouth
1:33:52
and I knew I had to stop being a
douchebag and provide some
1:33:54
treasure to you both. To avoid
an exit strategy. I immediately
1:33:59
texted Dhotre to share with him
that I had been assigned room
1:34:02
333 Something that has not
happened in my four years of
1:34:06
airline flying. He and I agreed
the only course of action was to
1:34:10
share my experience and an end
my status as a douchebag very
1:34:13
good with that. I hope you
accept my humble donation 33333

1:37:29
Adam Curry: Well, I serve fat

1:37:32

1:37:34
John C Dvorak: way.
1:37:34
Adam Curry: This amount? He's
just that's just his name. I
1:37:37
mean, one hour.
1:37:38
John C Dvorak: Yes, I know one

1:37:42
Adam Curry: It's your joke, man

1:38:23
sitting here in weather too cold
to turn on the AC and watch the
1:38:27
media hype up the heat
catastrophe as the next thing to
1:38:31
be scared of over socialized and
under informed kids coinage by
1:38:37
my partner yes and the tone deaf
political class are busy
1:38:42
harassing the citizens who I
want Lee destroying the whole
1:38:47

base. That's probably true.
1:38:51
Sounds about right. The only
source of income and wealth for
1:38:54
many millions and ultimately the
state is well. Thank you for
1:38:59
that also true. Unless you want
to be a middleman selling coffee

helping me stay sane through
1:39:05
your relentless deconstruction
of this foolishness. A bit of

to I would like to express

1:43:14

because I did not do a rap text
1:43:18

these
1:43:22

Adam Curry: Game Valerie
Kirkland, Washington, home of
1:44:22
Costco, row of ducks to 2222 Hi,
Adam and John. Your podcasts are
1:44:27
high points of my week. I am
pleased so many fellow
1:44:30
Washingtonians contribute to the
show. I think someone advised
1:44:33
you a little oddly regarding the
gut filled show. We record and
1:44:37
watch God filled every night and
watch next morning there's one
1:44:39
regular member of the panel of
four and one semi regular and
1:44:43
two new people every program.
Panel members are funny and
1:44:46
articulate businessmen, lawyers
and outright comedians. Also the
1:44:50
show is somewhat crude. Usually
God felt himself Dame Valerie I
1:44:54
don't what did we get wrong? I
don't think we misunderstood
1:44:57
that. But you I like I don't
like to
1:45:00
John C Dvorak: show exactly what
it was you would do talk
1:45:02
disparagingly about the show.
And I never liked Gutfeld and
1:45:07
I've always wondered why Scott
Adams was a huge fan. But over
1:45:11
time watching the gut felt show,
I've come to appreciate him for
1:45:15
the kind of crap he's a. He's a
screwball comic.
1:45:19
Adam Curry: I mean, it's okay,
but I'm just not interested in
1:45:22
the evenings. I'm just not
interesting at night, and I
1:45:24
don't catch the king a night,
late night. And I know the cat
1:45:27
temp is just, she's annoying.
And then you got that dude with
1:45:31
his with his belt. What's his
name? Seamus, Marcus.
1:45:36
John C Dvorak: Marcus Aurelius,
whatever.
1:45:37
Adam Curry: It's just like,
okay. Yes, it's
1:45:42
John C Dvorak: an acquired
taste. I
1:45:44
Adam Curry: would do the show. I
saw
1:45:46
John C Dvorak: that funny
enough.
1:45:48
Adam Curry: Hey, John Hotep was
on the other night. I can be
1:45:51
funny. What do you mean I'm not
funny. And you're
1:45:53
John C Dvorak: you already said
you hate cat and that she's like
1:45:56
the mainstay of the show. I'm
never gonna get on is what
1:45:59
you're telling me? Well, if you
keep saying things like that,
1:46:03
hey, you know what are monkeys?
You know, in a Mongo like this?
1:46:06
If I was coaching, it'd be like,
Yeah, I see this show a couple
1:46:08
times a day. quite sure how it's
set up. But I liked the people
1:46:12
on it. They're hilarious. It's a
great show. And, and God Phil
1:46:16
does a wonderful job of keeping
the show moving.
1:46:19
Adam Curry: Unlike you. I'm not
full of crap here. Let me tell
1:46:21
you what I'm going to be on.
Because I am on an important
1:46:24
show. Let me say that I'm going
to be on Dad. Dad saves America.
1:46:29
That's a pretty big show. But
that's a podcast. What is this?
1:46:34
This next one was I'm still
1:46:36
John C Dvorak: waiting for the
Fredericksburg. Donations to
1:46:39
come flowing in here.
1:46:40
Adam Curry: I did the matt long
show. Oh, yeah. Monday. Once
1:46:44
again, I've been asked to appear
on the what's the guy from Fox?
1:46:52
The guy who Hey, you can put in
anywhere? Kilmeade the Brian
1:46:57
Kilmeade show. Oh, but he's he's
on vacation. And Kennedy is
1:47:02
hosting.
1:47:03
John C Dvorak: Oh, your old
buddy. Yeah.
1:47:06
Adam Curry: What do you want to
do? Would you mind call us?
1:47:08
Yeah. Oh, Kennedy. I'll be
hilarious. You broke my butt.
1:47:12
Kennedy.
1:47:14
John C Dvorak: We all know yes,
definitely. Brett, you you will
1:47:16
bring that up. Of course. I'm
gonna
1:47:17
Adam Curry: bring it up a bit.
You know, I have some I have
1:47:21
some makeup was for who to her
to because what she was brought
1:47:25
in as the conservative VJ and I
I was fresh off the boat from
1:47:29
Europe. I didn't understand
politics in America at all. You
1:47:33
know, I was pretty young.
Although she was younger, I'm
1:47:36
pretty sure but I didn't really
understand what that meant. And
1:47:39
just thought she's achy. And I
didn't you know, I just it
1:47:43
really I avoided her and just
like yeah, and a lot of people
1:47:48
didn't like her because of
course they were left the MTV
1:47:51
Marxists. And I didn't know so I
owe her an apology for that. But
1:47:57
I thought she was she'd done
quite well for herself. You
1:47:59
know, I have respect for her. I
like her she gets work she's
1:48:04
she's marriage material. She
gets work. Dynamite. All right.
1:48:09
Well, yes,
1:48:10
John C Dvorak: I'm on with

Adam Curry: Oh, well, that's too
bad.
1:50:16
John C Dvorak: I did get a note.
1:50:18
Adam Curry: Do read do share.
Well, I'll just
1:50:21
John C Dvorak: summarize.
Because it's pretty profane. Oh,
1:50:24
okay. For one thing he says that
he doesn't think surfer has the
1:50:28
guts to
1:50:29
Adam Curry: do it. This is. This
is from Hollywood superstar
1:50:31
producer Dana Brunetti.
1:50:33
John C Dvorak: Yeah. Who's got a
new movie coming out called. Oh,
1:50:37
it's ranch. Hurry, get

Base based on a true story.
1:50:45
John C Dvorak: I guess. Anyway,
that'd be good. But he's made he
1:50:50
also wanted to correct you. Oh,
he says that Pete The Producers
1:50:55
Guild of America is not a union.
I didn't say it was Did I say it
1:50:59
was a union? I guess you did at
one point because it got his
1:51:03
hackles up. Okay. So then it
then they blew up over it
1:51:06
because he hates these people in
a drinking club to sue them to
1:51:10
get us a war when it is a war
1:51:12
Adam Curry: where he hates him.
But he wants an award really?
1:51:15
John C Dvorak: No, he won an
award and but they were because
1:51:18
of these producers awards. They
get to Hollywood. He kind of
1:51:22
runs it through this guild of
what he calls douchebags. And
1:51:28
they limit it sometimes. So they
will give three or three of the
1:51:32
five producers will give three
of them an Oscar. And so you
1:51:36
have to sue to get yours. Yeah.
And is a bunch of story. Podcast
1:51:42
Awards. Not well. There you go.
I want my Dave Dana. Yeah. Adam
1:51:49
is the one getting screwed.
Yeah.
1:51:51
Adam Curry: What's your problem,
bro? Making all these big
1:51:55
movies. living high on the hog.
1:51:58
John C Dvorak: He says this is
his last movie. Please.
1:52:04
Adam Curry: Alright, Spielberg,
gotcha. Now we love our
1:52:08
Hollywood connections. just
wants to just want to get John a
1:52:11
bit part. Does he have to say
anything about that in his
1:52:14
profane? No, he
1:52:16
John C Dvorak: already told me
I'm not getting a bit part
1:52:18
period.
1:52:19
Adam Curry: That's it, you're

that was that was fun. Welcome
1:53:12
back, everybody. You missed the
Powerball number and our
1:53:15
specialty view. Good guy said
Good to have you back. I was
1:53:20
there was a pretty interesting
documentary I was walking
1:53:23
watching and it's about all this
alien bull crap with no one's No
1:53:30
one's buying this. By the way.
Even Joe Rogan is not even
1:53:32
buying this one. This this
hearing and oh yeah, this grush
1:53:36
guy. But this whole this whole
kind of documentaries, maybe a
1:53:42
big word is about Wernher von
Braun, who told apparently
1:53:48
several several people that the
military industrial complex
1:53:52
would play ultimately played
their last card it's called the
1:53:55
last card and the last card
would be Holic. This is the blue
1:53:59
beam theory, of course, will be
holographic spacecraft, they
1:54:04
will be beaming into the sky and
then hidden amongst the
1:54:07
spacecraft they would have some
of their regular aircraft that
1:54:10
would know bomb a couple
buildings just shoot a laser
1:54:13
beam or something to make it
look look real. And that would
1:54:15
bring in the the new world order
and then we'd all go to a global
1:54:19
government and we'd all be happy
and be depopulated forever. Just
1:54:25
thought I'd bring that up.
1:54:28
John C Dvorak: I'm unfamiliar
with this.
1:54:30
Adam Curry: It's yeah, it's
relatively new. I'll send it to
1:54:32
you. It was interesting thesis.
I liked it.
1:54:35
John C Dvorak: I was a big fan
of that guy. When I was a little
1:54:37
kid Wernher von Braun. Yeah, cuz
he was on Disney all the time.
1:54:42
Yeah, I find out later.
1:54:45
Adam Curry: But the whole bunch
of
1:54:46
John C Dvorak: Disney never
mentioned this.
1:54:48
Adam Curry: Well, let's not talk
about Disney. Note from one of
1:54:53
our UPS drivers and producer
boots on the ground. Adam John
1:54:57
right to the point there's a
good chance our contract to
1:55:00
tentative agreement may not be
ratified this is a big deal for
1:55:03
us in America thinks 17% of the
GDP of America
1:55:08
John C Dvorak: depends on UPS Oh
things down to say the least my
1:55:11
fellow
1:55:12
Adam Curry: ups are focused on
what profits the company made
1:55:14
while we were on this unfair
contract unfair because of how
1:55:18
inside people and the lower tier
drivers are paid yeah this
1:55:21
irksome a lot. My concerns that
many don't see the big picture,
1:55:25
there's a limit to what people
will pay for shipping even for
1:55:27
the best and service I agree. We
have actually not shipped some
1:55:30
things for that very reason to
ask for more than the proposal
1:55:34
now will lead to a loss of
public support and could
1:55:36
jeopardize the dream and game of
future pension checks for our
1:55:40
worn bodies which they are they
have this job. And I remember
1:55:44
when we had ice here, and our
UPS guy was elderly, we were the
1:55:48
last house he was going to go to
he was slipping and sliding all
1:55:51
over our path and I appreciate
what those guys do. Lastly, I've
1:55:55
used this job or career even
with challenges as a blessing
1:55:57
from the Lord and I'm thankful
there aren't a lot of places
1:56:00
with the combination of our pay
benefits and retirement left out
1:56:03
there it is really truly one of
the last American Great American
1:56:06
blue collar jobs please keep my
name private did so. And that's
1:56:13
it and he says we should we
should go on Theo von show you
1:56:17
and I together on that's not
gonna happen thank you anyway to
1:56:22
Vaughn he's a comedian it's
pretty good show Yeah, but we
1:56:26
will never go on together
1:56:28
John C Dvorak: no, don't do that
never and divide and conquer
1:56:32
Adam Curry: and night notes from
our our man Joe. She says Yeah,
1:56:37
well, you can see proof the
still crew months issues in this
1:56:42
email to employees regarding all
reserves exhausted and united
1:56:45
limping to the end of July is
the end of the month. So you're
1:56:48
gonna see your we've, we keep
warning you and have crew months
1:56:51
shortage at at United this
month.
1:56:54
John C Dvorak: They just don't
have the pilots. This has been a
1:56:56
theme of our show for two years
comes from Joe actually put
1:56:59
Adam Curry: his Patreon link in
there you can go and take a look
1:57:01
at his most recent update. But
it's true. They fired all that.
1:57:05
Didn't we have an email from a
from a pilot in the donation
1:57:09
segment? Said he. Somehow
remember or note?
1:57:17
John C Dvorak: Yeah, we talked
about the guy he was from. From
1:57:20
gash
1:57:21
Adam Curry: gas. Yeah, gash gash
in cash. What's your name? gash.
1:57:25
Okay.
1:57:27
John C Dvorak: Okay, we have
some crime issues in Oakland.
1:57:31
Really? But they're funny. Oh,
well, that's good. And there's
1:57:36
one was when the incident that
just took place recently that I
1:57:39
thought was hilarious. And it
happens to be covered in this
1:57:42
crime report. Because, you know,
Oakland and Alameda County and
1:57:47
San Francisco is a lot of
California is plagued by these
1:57:51
sorrows. deejays attorneys, and
the one locally in Oakland says,
1:57:57
you know, she literally says I
got nothing to do law
1:57:59
enforcement.
1:58:01
Adam Curry: Does. She's the
actual the actual law
1:58:03
enforcement pretty
1:58:04
John C Dvorak: much. I don't
know why they're blaming me
1:58:08
because
1:58:10
Adam Curry: you know, you just
don't have enough. It's not
1:58:12
about the crime problem. You
don't have enough hilarious
1:58:14
crime that's you need more
hilarious crime?
1:58:16
John C Dvorak: Well, there's
hilarious crime in this report.
1:58:18
This is crime in Oakland from
New Tang Dynasty.
1:58:22
Unknown: This is in de de
1:58:24
se in California. The National
Association for the Advancement
1:58:28
of Colored People or NAACP in
Oakland published a letter
1:58:33
sounding the alarm over rising
crime in that city. Earlier
1:58:37
today I spoke with journalist
documentary filmmaker and
1:58:40
Oakland resident Leighton
Woodhouse. For his perspective
1:58:43
on the situation. Leighton
thanks so much for joining us.
1:58:47
Oakland's NAACP is calling on
local officials to declare a
1:58:50
state of emergency around crime.
You've covered this area in
1:58:53
depth. How would you describe
the state of affairs there?
1:58:57
It's crazy. And it's getting
crazier. You may have heard this
1:59:02
story that this week there was a
naked woman who stepped out of
1:59:06
her car on the freeway on top of
the Bay Bridge and started just
1:59:10
shooting cars and obviously
suffering some kind of psychotic
1:59:15
break or something. But you
know, that was pretty wild even
1:59:19
by by various standards. But
also another viral video that
1:59:23
went around this week was of car
jacking up on Skyline Boulevard,
1:59:27
which is really the kind of the
nice part of town it's like
1:59:29
where people go to walk their
dogs on nature trails in the
1:59:32
redwoods. You know, car pulls
over a blocks that the path and
1:59:36
gets out with a gun and just at
8am in the morning and just
1:59:39
tries to Jack this person's car
at gunpoint. There have been
1:59:43
over 8000 car break ins in
Oakland just so far this year,
1:59:46
which is a 50% increase over
last year. Oakland has the
1:59:50
second worst 911 pickup time in
the state. People feel very
1:59:54
insecure. A crime is rampant.
It's scary. It's pretty crazy.
1:59:59
Adam Curry: I saw The video that
was that was pretty crazy.
2:00:04
John C Dvorak: The video of
naked woman's yeah and if people
2:00:06
Adam Curry: haven't seen that
2:00:08
John C Dvorak: I have the naked
one I saw which was the big fat
2:00:13
black woman and now grocery
store wiping cake all or
2:00:17
selling.
2:00:18
Adam Curry: I saw that one but
no, this is dead. She's not big
2:00:21
and fat. This black lady is
running down naked, and she's
2:00:24
shooting cars until she runs out
of ammo.
2:00:29
John C Dvorak: She could kill
somebody doing that.
2:00:31
Adam Curry: That's why it's
hilarious, John.
2:00:35
John C Dvorak: Yeah, it's kind
of hilarious. Yeah, somehow I
2:00:38
missed the video. I knew about
the story, but I missed the
2:00:40
video. Now the videos are must
watch. Okay, on with part two of
2:00:45
this hilarious clip,
2:00:47
Unknown: I want to look at the
date where this all started. You
2:00:49
know, the NAACP is blaming
failed leadership, including the
2:00:53
movement to defund the police,
anti police rhetoric as well as
2:00:56
the District Attorney for the
increase in crime. From your
2:00:59
perspective. How accurate is
that?
2:01:02
Well, last night, there was a
town hall that I attended with
2:01:04
the district eternity attorney
who rarely does public
2:01:07
appearances. And it was
absolutely packed standing room
2:01:11
only and, and you know, she
doesn't see her job as as
2:01:16
preventing crime. She said that
straight up that the DEA doesn't
2:01:20
have a role in preventing crime.
And that's a problem because
2:01:23
that's not the way that
traditional DEA is look at this
2:01:26
stuff. There were also laws that
were passed. For example, there
2:01:28
was a law passed in statewide in
California, which makes it more
2:01:32
likely that a police officer who
shoots somebody who makes who
2:01:37
shoot somebody in error, you
know, shoot somebody innocent,
2:01:40
or some somebody unarmed, which
happens on the job. Sometimes as
2:01:45
a good faith accident, like it
look, they the officer thinks
2:01:48
that somebody's holding a gun or
whatever, it's more likely that
2:01:51
that officer will end up in
prison. And whatever you think
2:01:54
about the fairness of that law,
the consequences been that
2:01:57
officers don't want to end up in
prison so they have been
2:02:00
transferring out of high crime
cities and going to low crime
2:02:05
suburban area so Oakland along
with many other cities has had a
2:02:08
crisis in recruitment and retain
retaining of cops
2:02:13
Adam Curry: pretty interesting
you said that's not my job. As
2:02:17
I'm not interested in that.
2:02:19
John C Dvorak: What am I I
thought that was hilarious. Very
2:02:23
we have a DA this is all over
the country. In fact, I happen
2:02:27
to it's
2:02:27
Adam Curry: an Austin as well
with this sorrows da in Austin,
2:02:31
and they've run out of cops. No
one wants to be a cop.
2:02:36
John C Dvorak: I have a clip
from a previous show. Yeah, and
2:02:39
I think if you do this search
for i L for Illinois. It's the
2:02:44
clip about how the Illinois
changes state laws to and these
2:02:49
these legislatures are in
cahoots with these sorrows. I
2:02:53
Adam Curry: mean, I'll be honest
with you, I L gets a gives me a
2:02:55
lot of okay, never give me a
little more would it be I LDA
2:03:00
could be I mean, I'm gonna need
something more than just
2:03:03
Iredale.
2:03:05
John C Dvorak: Yeah, okay. I get
the point. A justice reform in
2:03:08
Illinois.
2:03:09
Adam Curry: Okay, justice. Yes.
Yes. Oh, oh my goodness who even
2:03:16
get get to play a trigger.
Warning. AMY GOODMAN clip
2:03:20
enveloped
2:03:22
Unknown: in a victory for
criminal justice reform. The
2:03:24
Illinois Supreme Court has ruled
in favor of legislation
2:03:27
abolishing the state's cash bail
system. The five to two ruling
2:03:31
overturned a decision by a lower
court from last December deeming
2:03:35
the pre trial Fairness Act
unconstitutional. Illinois
2:03:38
judges will no longer require
people charged with a crime to
2:03:42
post bail in order to be
released from jail as they await
2:03:45
trial unless they're considered
a threat to the public are
2:03:48
likely to flee. The policy is
expected to go into effect in
2:03:51
September. In a statement the
Illinois network for pretrial
2:03:55
Justice said quote black people
have been disproportionately
2:03:58
impacted by wealth based
jailing. Giving people the
2:04:02
opportunity to stay in their
communities while awaiting trial
2:04:05
will enable them to keep their
jobs housing and custody of
2:04:08
their children making us all
safer.
2:04:11
Adam Curry: Wealth based Jim
what was that? I would I was
2:04:16
rather these things
2:04:18
John C Dvorak: already tried
this in San Francisco. It ended
2:04:20
up with shoplifters going, you
know, picking they also changed
2:04:24
the law in California saying if
you if you steal anything less
2:04:27
than $1,000 and don't worry
about it, it literally and so
2:04:32
the shoplifter would get picked
up. Maybe if they even got
2:04:36
picked up and then they just let
him go out and shoplift again
2:04:39
that's what they do until they
got enough stuff and then they
2:04:42
go home right but these these
reforms there's reasons that a
2:04:46
lot of these things came into
into being the cash bail
2:04:50
Adam Curry: to ruin what it was
ruin the country. What else
2:04:53
could it be for that's that's
and by the way,
2:04:55
John C Dvorak: no, I'm saying
the reason that cash bail came
2:04:57
into being in the first place
was an evolution then, and then
2:05:00
just to pull the rug out from
under these things just out of
2:05:03
the blue doesn't seem to be
working out. So here's my third
2:05:08
of the Oakland Eclipse.
2:05:10
Unknown: And yet in some sense,
people may feel that they
2:05:14
shouldn't really be speaking out
against it. I noticed that the
2:05:17
NAACP is urging African
Americans White, Asian and
2:05:21
Latino community to speak out
against crime and and they say
2:05:24
that people shouldn't be shamed
into silence. How much do you
2:05:28
think this is at play?
2:05:29
I think that it's I think that
that has been the case in the
2:05:32
past. I think that is becoming
no longer the case as so many
2:05:37
people have become victims of
crimes every everything from
2:05:40
armed robberies to just their
cars being broken into the this
2:05:44
crime wave has overwhelmingly
impacted low income people in
2:05:49
the flatlands of Oakland, who
are majority non white, those
2:05:53
neighborhoods have been the most
besieged by this crime wave. So
2:05:57
those are the folks who are
suffering and those are the
2:05:59
folks who the NAACP is speaking
out it out on behalf of and
2:06:03
saying to those more affluent
middle class people in the
2:06:07
hills, as well as working class
people in other parts of the
2:06:10
city. You know, we need you to
speak out along with us because
2:06:14
a lot of folks in those low
income quote unquote, black and
2:06:17
brown communities have been
speaking out about this for for
2:06:20
quite a while.
2:06:21
Adam Curry: Hey, what's this
quote unquote, black and brown
2:06:23
communities? What's that
bullcrap? I
2:06:25
John C Dvorak: have no idea at
that point they're trying to
2:06:28
make in that sub clip was they
it's deliberate liberals who
2:06:32
can't speak say anything bad
about crime because it's your
2:06:36
shame. You're shaking. Your
sound like a damn Republican.
2:06:42
Adam Curry: Yes. Can't do that.
Can't do that. We made a new
2:06:49
friend. New friends here in the
hill country. Yeah, Susie, Susie
2:06:56
and John. And they own a winery
out here.
2:07:00
John C Dvorak: So who doesn't?
2:07:02
Adam Curry: She's very
interesting. She is James
2:07:04
Macklemore is daughter that was
that. You think
2:07:10
John C Dvorak: he was name rings
a bell? Yeah.
2:07:13
Adam Curry: See, the first is
CEO of Burger King and inventor
2:07:16
of the Whopper.
2:07:20
John C Dvorak: Oh, he invented
the Whopper. He invented the
2:07:22
Whopper. She's got nothing by
money.
2:07:25
Adam Curry: They have a pretty
cool house they have. He has a
2:07:28
safe like a walking safe that
only has guitars in it.
2:07:32
John C Dvorak: Which is always a
good target collector. Yeah.
2:07:35
Adam Curry: And he has a wine
tasting room to one of those
2:07:39
with a table downstairs in the
bay in the in the cellar is
2:07:43
pretty cool. Yeah, sure. We had
a pastor Nick 2013 Sahra
2:07:48
John C Dvorak: is the name of
the winery pastor Nick. Yes,
2:07:50
Pastor
2:07:51
Adam Curry: Nick. I think it's a
California.
2:07:54
John C Dvorak: It's not Texas?
2:07:55
Adam Curry: No, it's from
Healdsburg, near Healdsburg.
2:07:58
Pastor Nick.
2:07:58
John C Dvorak: Oh, hi. But they
live in fields of
2:08:01
Fredericksburg.
2:08:02
Adam Curry: He has a wine cellar
John. He has other wines besides
2:08:07
from his own winery.
2:08:08
John C Dvorak: Oh, okay. Yeah, I
was. I was misunderstanding the
2:08:12
entire story.
2:08:13
Adam Curry: Yeah. Yeah. Super
nice. People very funny. was the
2:08:17
pastor Nick. Oh, man was That's
why I thought you would know.
2:08:21
John C Dvorak: I know. It's one
of those wines that I just never
2:08:23
get run into. Because I
2:08:24
Adam Curry: said, I said, I'm
going to tell John, we had this
2:08:26
pastor Nick. If there's only two
answers, John has when I said
2:08:29
I'd like a wine. It's either
that's That stinks. You have no
2:08:33
palate that's no good.
2:08:34
John C Dvorak: Or never said
that, of course, or you make it
2:08:37
up as you go along. pay too
much. For that one. I do say
2:08:42
that. You paid too much.
2:08:44
Adam Curry: It was a great one.
You paid too much.
2:08:47
John C Dvorak: Well, you didn't
pay too much if it was free. No,
2:08:49
I
2:08:49
Adam Curry: didn't. I am making
it all up as I go along. Oh my
2:08:55
god,
2:08:55
John C Dvorak: we never get
that. That's a wine that is not
2:08:58
in my meal. You
2:09:01
Adam Curry: know, it was good.
It was very good. Let's do this
2:09:05
for a second. Now it's time for
smiles, gender. Self destruct
2:09:09
initiated. There you go. I'm
liking these jingles. Well, they
2:09:16
say go whoa, go broke. Not
quite. But this is what's
2:09:18
happening. The Bud
2:09:19
Unknown: Light backlash appears
to have taken another toll.
2:09:22
Anheuser Busch is laying off
more than 300 corporate
2:09:25
staffers. The move comes amid
lagging Bud Light sales
2:09:29
triggered by a boycott following
a partnership with
2:09:31
a transgender influencer
2:09:33
Adam Curry: that wow, they
really shorten the story there.
2:09:36
Now, I'd say so the CEO is still
there. Isn't that wasn't that
2:09:40
the pivot moment that we've been
waiting for? When the CEO gets
2:09:43
fired? That's when the stock
will start going up again.
2:09:47
John C Dvorak: Yeah, it's still
still in play. Still. That's
2:09:50
Adam Curry: the idea, right?
2:09:51
John C Dvorak: That guy was the
ex CIA guy. Yes. Yes.
2:09:55
Adam Curry: Yeah. It was clearly
brought in to wreak havoc and we
2:09:57
got a wonderful note from a I'm
Erin, the concern therapist. Now
2:10:02
you remember that Aaron is the
one who had to beat boots on the
2:10:06
ground early on for us and said,
Hey, these therapists, they are
2:10:10
completely controlled just like
doctors during COVID. They're
2:10:13
controlled like what you don't
feel good. You're a girl, you're
2:10:16
middle school. Let me see. Let
me have another 30 minutes with
2:10:19
you. You're a boy, let's get
Johnson puberty blockers. Let's
2:10:22
go top surgery. And they are
dictated that by the AAP
2:10:29
American Association of
Pediatrics, American
2:10:31
psychiatrist association is
always associated to political
2:10:34
organizations. And the last
show, we had the governor of
2:10:39
Utah and there was a you know,
CBS Face the Nation face off
2:10:44
between the leading transgender
Doctor Who does transgender
2:10:49
surgeries, and the governor,
Governor Cox of Utah, who has a
2:10:55
PA paused all all procedures for
minors until they figure stuff
2:11:02
out. And Aaron, the concern
therapist said, there was like a
2:11:07
huge lie, which is probably
ignorance on at least one
2:11:11
person's bar, but a huge lie.
I'm going to play the pertinent
2:11:13
part from from the series of
clips we had on the last show.
2:11:16
Unknown: So just on the numbers
of 73 million children in the US
2:11:19
there were just 56 genital
surgeries related to dysphoria
2:11:24
between 2019 and 2021. According
to the study by Comodo, health
2:11:27
embroiders Do
2:11:28
you have the numbers on on on
hormone therapy? And, and and in
2:11:33
those ad blockers? What are
exploding? We went from, like
2:11:38
1010 years ago to several 100
This past year.
2:11:43
John C Dvorak: So Aaron writes
in and says I can guess the lie?
2:11:47
Was that the number of
operations? Yes.
2:11:51
Adam Curry: And the reason why
is not that hard to figure out.
2:11:55
This was misstated by the
governor and the news model. She
2:11:58
stated 56 General surgeries were
performed minus between 2019 and
2:12:01
2021. The study only covered
procedures that were paid for by
2:12:06
insurance. Many insurers do not
cover elective surgeries like
2:12:11
this, hence all the GoFundMe
campaigns for these procedures,
2:12:14
and she sends me a link also
link to the Reuters article that
2:12:19
has the actual numbers. So let's
take a look at this. How many
2:12:23
top surgeries Do you think Well,
now let's start with hormone
2:12:26
therapy. Just
2:12:29
John C Dvorak: and this is all
for minors, right? Kids
2:12:31
Adam Curry: with ages six to 17.
Okay, so Jake's Dahlia, US
2:12:39
patients ages six to 17 with a
prior gender dysphoria
2:12:44
diagnosis, initiating hormone
treatment. So this is hormone
2:12:48
therapy. I'll give you for the
years 2019 2020 and 2021. What
2:12:55
did the governor just say? Oh,
it's like 100.
2:12:58
John C Dvorak: But it's funny
not guessing that's wrong.
2:13:02
Adam Curry: Yeah.
2019 3036 20 23,163 2021 4231 we
2:13:10
do not have data for 2022 It'll
be up How about top surgery is
2:13:14
56 According to the report on
CBS, CBS the Tiffany network.
2:13:19
Let's see us patients patients
favorites 13 to 17. Undergoing
2:13:25
mastectomy with their prior
gender. So this is only girls.
2:13:31
This is not any boys or
whatever. This is no penile
2:13:35
ectomy is this is mastectomy,
top surgery
2:13:39
2019 2038 2020 256 2021 282.
Once again, your mainstream
2:13:47
media is full of crap.
2:13:49
John C Dvorak: So you're talking
about 246, almost 700 or 700 as
2:13:54
opposed to what they said and
let slide l 56.
2:13:59
Adam Curry: And you see this
increase? Difference? Yeah,
2:14:01
massive increase in California.
Plus, California is a is like a,
2:14:06
I mean, it's hockey sticks here.
They have graphs and everything
2:14:10
what else they have? How about
the diagnosis of you with gender
2:14:14
dysphoria? So diagn new
diagnosis in the United States
2:14:17
patients six to
17 2019 21,375 2012 2020 24,847
2:14:29
Now we're in the pandemic
2021 42,167 These are just the
2:14:35
diagnoses that are that are
reported
2:14:39
John C Dvorak: that are reported
not to mention and ones that
2:14:41
aren't Yeah. This is a disaster.
2:14:48
Adam Curry: It is. It is it is a
disaster. And is see, do we have
2:14:56
anything else? No, I was just
gonna point out there was a
2:14:59
there was an article Call about
Pornhub which I would say as a
2:15:02
source of a lot of these
problems with the Pornhub and
2:15:08
only fans is probably the the
biggest problem because Pornhub
2:15:11
leads to an only fans finances.
What Pornhub did? Doesn't one
2:15:19
year on revenue i out too much.
$425 million. Half a billion
2:15:30
dollars.
2:15:32
John C Dvorak: But yes in one
year.
2:15:33
Adam Curry: But here's the
thing. It's owned by mind geek.
2:15:38
Hey, human mind geek is no mind
geek is a here headquartered in
2:15:45
Luxembourg offices in Bucharest,
New cozia, London, London,
2:15:49
Montreal and Los Angeles. They
are basically a tracking
2:15:58
company. They they offer Misia.
What is Search Engine Marketing,
2:16:07
ad buying? Hosting ad platforms,
media content delivery is a huge
2:16:16
company, but they're really just
tracking people and selling data
2:16:19
there.
2:16:19
John C Dvorak: That's a horrible
operation. If anyone if you get
2:16:22
a link to Pornhub. And I've seen
him, and I've clicked on him.
2:16:26
You will be sorry for research
purposes, yet? Well, the point
2:16:31
is, is that if you if you tag,
Oren hub, it will drop at least
2:16:36
one or two pieces of malware on
your machine that you hit you
2:16:40
have to you have to use more
than you have to use one of the
2:16:43
MAL anti malware programs to get
rid of Yeah. And they will is
2:16:48
the type of malware that just
throws ads at you. You know,
2:16:52
here and there. Why is this ad?
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. The worst
2:16:55
kind of, it's the worst kind of
product. Do not be unless you're
2:17:01
loaded with anti virus and anti
Trojan and all these other kinds
2:17:05
of preventative software
systems. Don't ever click on a
2:17:10
Pornhub. Link. Yeah. So Trump
was in Erie, Pennsylvania. Oh,
2:17:16
he
2:17:17
Adam Curry: did he do a little
meetup.
2:17:21
John C Dvorak: In a big meetup.
Uh huh. He's got a new gimmick.
2:17:24
He's trying to where he's
working on his new wheels and
2:17:26
walls thing, which I have a clip
of, we need
2:17:31
Unknown: free and fair
elections. And we need borders,
2:17:34
we need those two things. Just
like when they used to say, you
2:17:37
know, we built 500 miles of wall
when they used to say about
2:17:40
walls, the Democrats or we don't
need walls, we'll do it with
2:17:44
computers flying in the air,
right? Said No. Two things, two
2:17:48
things you need always for the
next 1000 years. And for the
2:17:51
past 5000 years, wheels and
walls, a wheel and a wall. Every
2:17:57
computer changes. Everything's
different. You know, you develop
2:18:01
a new brand of computer within
about two months, it's obsolete,
2:18:05
but a wheel doesn't change and
the world doesn't change to
2:18:07
things that work. And it's the
same thing with our democracy.
2:18:13
We need fair elections. We need
borders, we have to stop the
2:18:17
invasion of of people into our
country. And you notice coming
2:18:21
in prisoners, people from mental
institutions, terrorists are
2:18:26
coming into our country, and
millions and millions and
2:18:29
millions of people.
2:18:31
John C Dvorak: Yeah, you know,
that clip and forge I have other
2:18:36
Trump clips. But that clip
brings me to a series I want to
2:18:39
play Oh, a series which is in
the series on immigration. Okay.
2:18:45
And these and the reason this is
my I do this occasionally, my
2:18:49
little educational moment
edutainment, edutainment, and
2:18:55
there's there's just stats in
here that are just I didn't know
2:18:59
that. I didn't know that. I bet
they're staggering. Well,
2:19:02
there's some of them are. Well,
they're more fascinating than
2:19:05
staggering. The numbers are
unbelievable. That's true. But
2:19:08
it's the people coming across
that make it interesting. Here
2:19:11
we go.
2:19:12
Unknown: Tell your Border Patrol
has apprehended a record number
2:19:15
of terror watchlist suspects
entering the country. Among
2:19:19
those giving testimony at the
hearing was Todd Benjamin,
2:19:22
senior national security Fellow
at the Center for Immigration
2:19:25
Studies. He also spoke with me
earlier today, Todd, thanks so
2:19:28
much for coming on. Border
Patrol has now apprehended a
2:19:31
record number of terror
watchlist suspects. What kinds
2:19:35
of people are we talking about
here? And how do we get here?
2:19:38
Right? Well, you have to
remember that more than 40% of
2:19:42
all illegal aliens crossing our
southern border are from
2:19:46
countries other than Mexico or
Central America. The entire
2:19:50
world is on their way here.
Everybody has heard the siren
2:19:55
call of our open borders and our
policies that are letting pretty
2:19:59
much everybody The end. Just a
month or so ago, I was in
2:20:03
mountain Morris and Mexico and
my entire hotel was filled with
2:20:08
Kyrgyzstan, ease and Dagestan
ease. Everybody's coming. And so
2:20:12
it's inevitable that some of
them are going to be known to
2:20:15
our intelligence agencies as
potential terrorists. And that's
2:20:20
who's coming.
2:20:21
Adam Curry: Well, I mean, are
all these countries on the
2:20:24
terror watchlist? Kyrgyzstan?
2:20:28
John C Dvorak: Well, I don't
think it was. I think it's
2:20:30
actual people they caught.
2:20:31
Adam Curry: Oh, okay. Yeah,
yeah, surprise.
2:20:35
John C Dvorak: And that's
probably just the tip of the
2:20:36
iceberg. Yeah. But if if not
even half the people are from
2:20:42
Mexico. I mean, there's, you
know, all of these poor Mexicans
2:20:44
didn't know is, you know, it's
just, it's ridiculous. And
2:20:49
they're not necessarily gonna
vote Democrat either
2:20:51
Adam Curry: way. You thought all
these people coming across the
2:20:54
border? Mexicans know, I
2:20:55
John C Dvorak: know, I've talked
about this being a light leg, a
2:20:58
lot of Venezuelans. These anti
communist? No, I didn't think
2:21:02
that. But I think the public
generally thinks it's just
2:21:04
Mexican because they're brown
2:21:05
Adam Curry: because we're
racist. Yeah, well, there's
2:21:07
John C Dvorak: that. Okay, we go
into part two.
2:21:10
Unknown: And now you testified
before the House this week
2:21:12
concerned that the increase in
illegal immigration is
2:21:15
transforming American society,
and that children are being
2:21:18
affected the most, could you
expand on that?
2:21:21
We rarely hear about the fact
that most of the people that are
2:21:26
coming across are in family
groups or unaccompanied minors,
2:21:29
and they have to go to school in
the United States. And now they
2:21:33
have to take standardized tests,
overcrowding, the purchase of
2:21:39
portable classrooms, security
issues, gang problems, and these
2:21:43
are starting to hit Americans.
It's a pocketbook issue. It's a
2:21:47
public safety issue. And it's a
quality of education issue
2:21:51
throughout the interior of the
United States. I just wanted to
2:21:54
get that on the record. In the
Congress.
2:21:59
Adam Curry: I'll just say we
know this. Here in Texas, we
2:22:01
know this. Yeah, we know what
the problem is. We're witnessing
2:22:06
it. We're seeing it. And it's
not the voice in route 87. Which
2:22:09
comes right up from from, from
Bernie did from San Antonio,
2:22:17
basically, we see the buses, the
white buses that come up through
2:22:21
Fredericksburg hanger, right, go
to Austin? It's where they
2:22:25
belong. Yeah. Yeah. Believe me.
This is we're well aware of that
2:22:31
here.
2:22:33
John C Dvorak: Well, I don't
think the general public is
2:22:36
yours, part three.
2:22:37
Unknown: And you also brought up
mass asylum fraud at the at the
2:22:40
border and other legal loopholes
that people are using to get
2:22:44
into the country? You spent a
lot of time down at the border?
2:22:47
Could you tell us what you've
seen in that sense? Right? Well,
2:22:51
to get asylum, to qualify for
asylum in this country, you have
2:22:55
to be able to show that you have
been politically persecuted by
2:23:00
the government of your home
country. But the vast majority
2:23:03
of people coming across our by
indication from my interviews
2:23:10
with 1000s of them, are economic
migrants are coming here to
2:23:13
work. They're not fleeing
something. They're just coming
2:23:16
to enforce something in the
United States. That's not
2:23:20
ineligible grounds for asylum.
And a lot of the immigrants that
2:23:24
I talked to are very well aware
that they have to come up with
2:23:26
some kind of story. And they all
know that nobody's going to
2:23:30
check it. It's not checkable.
But when you come down there
2:23:33
before they've been lawyered up,
as I do, they'll just tell you,
2:23:37
yeah, well, I can make $30 a
month in Colombia doing my job,
2:23:42
but in the US, I'll make 150.
So, you know, why wouldn't I do
2:23:47
that? That is not asylum, that
is something entirely different.
2:23:52
But they're going to claim
asylum, and they're gonna be
2:23:54
lying about it.
2:23:55
Adam Curry: Maybe it's
appropriate just mentioned here
2:23:58
that according to the former New
York banker, the reason for this
2:24:02
is that the people who run the
world that run America don't
2:24:06
care. They don't care about
Americans. They know that we
2:24:09
when we went over China, why did
we win over China, not because
2:24:12
of bombs, not because of how
smart we are, how much
2:24:15
technology we have, it's about
people, they count people and as
2:24:20
long as your population is
growing view when and China's
2:24:24
population is declining,
Europe's population is
2:24:27
declining, that Europe is in
competition with us because
2:24:30
they're importing as many, as
many people's bodies as they
2:24:33
can. We're just more efficient
typically. And so they are, you
2:24:39
know, don't say replacement
theory, but they are just,
2:24:43
heaven forbid, just you know,
and of course, you know, what
2:24:46
are we doing? We're sterilizing
our children. We're scaring
2:24:50
other young people into not
having kids because climate
2:24:53
change and so they just import
people and that and I'm not I'm
2:24:59
not even sure how the mechanism
works by think, somehow that
2:25:03
means you can print more money
and you can just, you know, just
2:25:05
flood more money in and under
this current system. But don't
2:25:08
forget, they weren't cheaper to
have universal of modern
2:25:12
monetary theory. They weren't
cheaper, yes, but you could just
2:25:15
flood the system with money and
give it to people and, and that
2:25:19
way you keep everything afloat.
They don't care, they don't
2:25:22
care. Surprise
2:25:25
John C Dvorak: onto the end.
Now,
2:25:27
Unknown: you said in the same
hearing that 100% of crimes
2:25:31
committed by illegal immigrants
are avoidable, which I thought
2:25:34
was very interesting. But that's
in response to some studies that
2:25:38
show that illegal immigrants
commit fewer crimes than
2:25:40
American citizens. Could you
speak to that?
2:25:43
That's right. I took heat for
that. But I'm happy to do it.
2:25:46
I'm just saying every crime by
an illegal immigrant is a crime
2:25:50
that was unnecessary. That was
preventable. And you can't say
2:25:54
the same thing for American
citizen crime, at least not in
2:25:58
the context of an apparatus
that's deporting that could
2:26:01
deport them.
2:26:03
Okay. Now, one argument that was
brought up is that it's not
2:26:06
possible to stop illegal
immigrants from crossing our
2:26:08
borders. But you've said that it
is, and that illegal immigrants
2:26:12
actually pay close attention to
the decisions that our
2:26:14
governments making on the
border, what kinds of policies
2:26:18
can be put in place to prevent
the influx Do you think?
2:26:22
Well, we saw definitive evidence
during the Trump administration
2:26:27
during the Trump years, that
policies do play a critical
2:26:32
factor in the decision making
processes of immigrants while
2:26:37
they're still home. Will the
money that I pay, get me into
2:26:42
the country and get me into
stay? If the answer is no, I'm
2:26:46
not dropping the cash. I'm not
spending that money on
2:26:49
smugglers. I'm staying home. And
they did in huge numbers. The
2:26:54
administration of Trump had
about 20 or 30,000 apprehensions
2:26:59
a month, the very next month
after Biden took office and got
2:27:04
rid of those policies remain in
Mexico, title 42. They opened up
2:27:09
all kinds of exemptions. The
numbers went to 200,000 a month
2:27:14
I never looked back.
2:27:16
Adam Curry: I have a clip that
fits right into this. You were
2:27:19
talking earlier about Illinois.
Illinois has more issues Chicago
2:27:23
specifically quick clip from the
local CBS affiliate we we've
2:27:29
kept our eye on the south shore,
mainly black American
2:27:36
neighborhood. And they were
like, Hey, what's going on with
2:27:41
these? I guess now we call them
asylum seekers, illegal
2:27:45
immigrants is would be more
appropriate but no person is
2:27:49
illegal. So they are flooding in
and they're they're being
2:27:54
shuffled, shuffled into this
particular neighborhood. And
2:27:58
they're fed up now. That now
they've had enough
2:28:01
Unknown: any of these residents
say they no longer have any
2:28:04
tolerance for the disruptive
behavior by those seeking asylum
2:28:07
here. It's making them feel
unsafe.
2:28:10
They disrespect us, they rob us,
they harass
2:28:14
us, and their patience. is
wearing thin.
2:28:18
Let me say this. They got one
more time to deal with it
2:28:21
because otherwise next time they
deal with it, they're going to
2:28:23
deal with it from the streets.
We're going to take over it.
2:28:25
Nobody's going to be able to
stop it from what we're going to
2:28:28
do to him. I'm not
2:28:29
sure the residents anger was
directed at city officials in
2:28:31
attendance including 20th Ward
Alderwoman Jeanette Taylor,
2:28:34
Chicago deputy police chief
Stephen Chung and family and
2:28:37
Support Services Commissioner
brandy Canarsie. At one point
2:28:41
police had to intervene breaking
up an argument during public
2:28:45
comment.
2:28:46
Adam Curry: It's really the
parallel with the Netherlands.
2:28:49
And what's happening in the EU
is it's exactly the same. The in
2:28:54
these small little cities,
little little villages, little
2:28:57
towns, they throw down what they
call an asylum center. And they
2:29:03
just let them all go in there
and then there, that's where
2:29:05
they are, and then they you
know, they eat there but then
2:29:08
they go out and they break into
cars and break into homes and
2:29:11
harass people. And the people
are fed up, fed up taken into
2:29:18
the streets that's that's what's
gonna happen. It's gonna be
2:29:21
mayhem.
2:29:24
John C Dvorak: Not well, and
then when you have a bunch of
2:29:26
police forces that have been
dumbed down and eliminated, or
2:29:30
defunded, you're going to have
is not going to be stoppable.
2:29:34
Adam Curry: Well. Fredericksburg
has a plan. It's not not a
2:29:37
pretty one, but Fredericksburg,
Fredericksburg has a plan. They
2:29:40
tried to do a public housing
authority in Fredericksburg.
2:29:42
That was funny. Be like, well,
we you know for the poor people
2:29:47
who just no one poor here in
Fredericksburg. Well, you know,
2:29:50
people who work in our
restaurants and stores can't
2:29:53
afford to live here. Well, okay,
why don't we have the
2:29:58
restaurants pay them more or go
out? Business on we need to have
2:30:01
public housing authority. Well,
there was a lot of people who
2:30:05
showed up at the city council
meeting that changed things real
2:30:08
quick. Yeah, I'm becoming one of
those Hill Country Hicks man, or
2:30:13
John C Dvorak: Trump was in
Erie, Pennsylvania.
2:30:18
Adam Curry: Was this event what
was the event?
2:30:20
John C Dvorak: All of it will
rally? Okay. Firstly, did I or
2:30:23
was any Randy Erie,
Pennsylvania. This is the big
2:30:25
speech he gave yesterday. Okay.
It's a big speech. It was an
2:30:29
hour and 15 hour and a half. And
he
2:30:31
Adam Curry: knew gags and he
jokes anything funny?
2:30:34
John C Dvorak: Well, I think I
did by the wheels came from
2:30:38
that. But this is the one that
got my attention. And this is
2:30:42
kind of a long clip, which will
have the kicker at the end. And
2:30:45
then there's another very short
clip after that. But this is
2:30:49
Trump in Erie, Pennsylvania on
DeSantis
2:30:51
Adam Curry: de Santos.
2:30:54
Unknown: And very importantly,
because, you know, they keep
2:30:56
talking about the independent
voters were up 18 points.
2:31:03
John C Dvorak: You know, we
remember Trump going iced Paul's
2:31:07
extract and
2:31:08
Adam Curry: no good polls alive.
They
2:31:10
John C Dvorak: lie. Yeah. So now
he's
2:31:14
Adam Curry: good. Yeah, brought
up polls. Again,
2:31:15
Unknown: very importantly,
because, you know, they keep
2:31:17
talking about the independent
voters were up 18 points among
2:31:21
independent voters over Biden.
And in the newest just came out
2:31:25
Echelon poll, the Echelon poll
of swing states, with trouncing
2:31:30
Biden by seven points and the
big new premise poll, we're
2:31:34
beating Biden by 43 to 39, with
the Sanctus, losing to Biden 33
2:31:39
to 38. In other polls, the SAM
leading Biden by 678 and 11
2:31:45
points, while the Sanctus is
losing to Biden, in every single
2:31:50
case. And when asked, and this
is very important, because it's
2:31:55
the economy stupid, right? It's
the economy stupid. We've heard
2:31:58
that line for a long time and a
lot of truth to it. But I think
2:32:02
in this case, there's a lot of
food, the borders, and there's a
2:32:04
lot of truth to militaries and
not doing what we did in
2:32:07
Afghanistan, because we have an
incompetent leader. Getting out
2:32:10
was fine getting out with
dignity and strength. not
2:32:13
stupid, the stupid most
embarrassing thing ever in our
2:32:17
country's history. When asked
who's the best to improve the
2:32:21
economy? It's Trump 54 to the
Sanctus 18. In Iowa, we're
2:32:29
leading 55 to 11. In New
Hampshire, great state. We're
2:32:33
leading 59 to 12. And in South
Carolina, we're leading 65 to
2:32:40
10. And we're leading by a
similar number in Nevada, we're
2:32:44
doing great. Nevada came out.
Yeah. It's like 65 to 10. We're
2:32:50
leading by a lot, and we're
gonna keep it that way. You
2:32:54
know, the characters in the
payload, I got some beauties
2:32:58
back there. They got some real,
they have one very good one that
2:33:01
I actually won is a lot. But
they got some beauties. But, you
2:33:05
know, they were saying, you
always have an ebb and flow.
2:33:09
Right. So you're leading like
right now we're leading by a
2:33:11
lot. A lot of people say just
saying this is dropping out of
2:33:14
the race. I don't know that
that's true, but I wouldn't be
2:33:16
surprised you should. Because I
think he's absolutely killed
2:33:19
himself for 20 a man
2:33:25
John C Dvorak: so before you
comment, Play Part Two, because
2:33:27
he is he I don't know where he
gets this idea. But he's been
2:33:31
promoting it that the Santas
Sanctum we just call the
2:33:36
sanctimonious. Sanctus is
quitting. So here's the here's
2:33:41
just a follow up to that what he
just said,
2:33:43
Unknown: you know, but remember
the loyalty thing he wouldn't be
2:33:46
there except for me. And then he
said, I have no comment. And we
2:33:49
know what that meant. No comment
means he's running. But he's
2:33:52
really hurt himself. But I hear
his dropping out. But I will say
2:33:56
this. We're gonna make this
country so strong. We're gonna
2:33:59
make our country so great. We're
gonna have so many victories
2:34:02
again.
2:34:03
Adam Curry: That wouldn't
surprise me I'm hearing all the
2:34:06
money people. What's that Ken
guy, the billionaire hedge fund
2:34:10
guy he's going Ronnie not doing
so good out there by Murdoch is
2:34:16
like
2:34:18
John C Dvorak: I'm worried about
I think he's gonna drop out. And
2:34:19
I think Trump either knows that
he's been told it or they
2:34:23
there's something or he's got
intelligence people working to
2:34:26
tell him that he's dropping out.
Something's up.
2:34:29
Adam Curry: Well, so the
Republican Party held a rally
2:34:33
rally. And they invited that now
this 14 candidates, the report
2:34:38
and this this has to be the
people with money behind the
2:34:42
Republican Party just trying to
throw wrenches into
2:34:46
preliminaries or whatever
whatever they're doing and we
2:34:49
just have a whole bunch like
Chris Christie, Will Hurd Kimia
2:34:55
I mean, these people are being
paid or it's all ego. I don't
2:34:59
know what it is.
2:35:00
John C Dvorak: There could be
some tax annual that we're just
2:35:02
unaware of.
2:35:03
Adam Curry: Well, there's that.
Yeah, I've got a clip here. This
2:35:05
is from Turkish radio and
television Republican
2:35:08
Unknown: dinner in the US state
of Iowa brought together all 14
2:35:12
presidential candidates on
Friday night, who spoke on a
2:35:16
range of hot button issues.
2:35:17
Biden has proven to be
incredibly weak and Kamala is
2:35:21
not up for the job. And I will
continue to say a vote for Joe
2:35:25
Biden is a vote for Kamala
Harris. That's who we're
2:35:27
actually running against. We
have to make sure she doesn't
2:35:30
win.
2:35:31
Adam Curry: Nikki Haley,
2:35:32
Unknown: I pledge to be the
President's of finally solved
2:35:35
the issue of the southern
border. We're sending the
2:35:38
military to the border. Yes, we
will build
2:35:41
Adam Curry: the home on second.
So this is DeSantis. He's saying
2:35:45
I'll become president and I'll
send the military to the border.
2:35:48
This is this guy's not serious.
This is you don't need the
2:35:51
military the border
2:35:53
John C Dvorak: nine yet, but
it's just something illegal
2:35:55
about it. We can't use our
military use National Guard.
2:35:59
Adam Curry: But besides that, I
mean, you couldn't just say
2:36:02
America is close to you know,
you we have the Border Patrol.
2:36:06
Border Patrol just says no, we
send you back. Why is you saying
2:36:09
we're sending the military? So
there's something that's there's
2:36:13
something funky going on
2:36:15
Unknown: to be the president to
finally solve the issue of the
2:36:18
southern border. We're sending
the military to the border. Yes,
2:36:22
we will build a border wall. And
we will use deadly force against
2:36:26
the Mexican drug cartels Eve
Well, most
2:36:29
of the field avoided digs at the
man who poses their biggest
2:36:32
threat, one candidate didn't
hold back.
2:36:35
Adam Curry: This is well heard.
2:36:37
Unknown: Donald Trump is not
running for president to
2:36:40
represent the people that voted
for him in 2016 and 2020. Donald
2:36:45
Trump is running to stay out of
prison. And if we elect I know,
2:36:54
I know, I know, I know,
2:36:56
Adam Curry: I'm being paid. I
got some kind of tax advantage.
2:36:59
I know I'm up here I
2:37:01
Unknown: know, to form Donald
Trump didn't shy away from a
2:37:04
text nor peddling his own
theories, including one that
2:37:08
connects the US withdrawal in
Afghanistan, to the conflict in
2:37:11
Ukraine.
2:37:12
We lost 13 Incredible lives, and
many, many badly wounded, the
2:37:16
most embarrassing, I think
moment in the history of our
2:37:20
country. And because of that, I
believe that was the incentive
2:37:24
for Vladimir Putin to invade
Ukraine when he saw the
2:37:27
incompetence of our military and
our leadership. This
2:37:30
Adam Curry: is not a tactic you
want to this makes no sense. He
2:37:35
knows that's not true. He knows
is not because of our withdrawal
2:37:40
at Afghanistan, does he think
the American people are stupid?
2:37:45
What kind of tactic could this
be John? I mean, we know why.
2:37:48
Because his his favorite dog to
kick is NATO. We know why they
2:37:55
were threatening to put bombs
into this country and make them
2:37:58
NATO. And we know why. In 2014
Victoria Nuland Why is he now
2:38:05
saying, oh, Putin got bold
because because we we had a
2:38:10
crappy withdrawal from
Afghanistan. He's starting
2:38:12
John C Dvorak: to make up
scenarios that are that are
2:38:15
obviously wrong, weird
2:38:17
Unknown: to invade Ukraine when
he showed the incompetence of
2:38:20
our military and our leadership
more than anything else.
2:38:23
Trump is consistently polling
far ahead of his Republican
2:38:27
rivals. That's despite a myriad
of legal troubles in several
2:38:31
states, including his alleged
mishandling of classified
2:38:34
documents. But he's promising
that nothing will stop his
2:38:39
campaign told her demand TRT
world
2:38:42
Adam Curry: very interesting,
he's He's really doing a replay,
2:38:45
he's playing the same music,
doing the same stuff. That is
2:38:50
just missing what he could
clinch this today. It would be
2:38:56
the biggest win. We would have
for him to just say, I got
2:39:02
screwed by these by Fauci by
Burks. I got hoodwinked. Then
2:39:07
they lie
2:39:08
John C Dvorak: and he has never
admitted he's wrong on anything.
2:39:14
No, in this somebody could cite
me where he did because I but I
2:39:18
don't remember ever hearing that
he was. He was contrite is
2:39:23
showing any contrition or
apologetic nature. I get around
2:39:29
to just the opposite of Kennedy.
2:39:32
Adam Curry: I get around here in
Hill Country. This is this is
2:39:35
the heart of you come up to 90
before you hit Fredericksburg.
2:39:41
There's Trump promises kept, you
know, trucks on the side of the
2:39:45
road. There's you know, there's
there's flags, there's banners,
2:39:50
but there's people here who are
changing their opinion and
2:39:53
they're all looking at Bobby The
K. It's really It's for people
2:39:58
who have not voted before. I
don't vote by I don't want to
2:40:02
participate is a scam.
2:40:06
John C Dvorak: There's my guy.
2:40:09
Adam Curry: And they're talking
about Kennedy. They like his
2:40:12
message.
2:40:12
John C Dvorak: This is this is
the opposite work is great. And
2:40:17
we
2:40:17
Adam Curry: got a because no
agenda social someone said, this
2:40:20
is hurting the show. You talk
about him being an op with no
2:40:24
evidence. Corinne Dvorak said
without evidence, Bobby, the K
2:40:29
is an up.
2:40:31
John C Dvorak: And the evidence
the evidence is it's the
2:40:34
evidence is he's not dead. Dead.
He's doing this.
2:40:38
Adam Curry: Yes, exactly. He's
going against everything. And
2:40:42
he's had and what we're missing
is we're missing HollyWell
2:40:46
Hollywood is on strike
convenient. No,
2:40:47
John C Dvorak: this is this is
staged. Yeah. We're only in
2:40:50
stage one. There's like two more
three more stages to go. Where
2:40:54
are they? They just start
flipping switches. But the stage
2:40:57
one is the testing phase.
2:40:59
Adam Curry: I love the I love
your your your line. Kennedy is
2:41:03
the great reset. I love that
line.
2:41:05
John C Dvorak: I love that line.
Yeah. But you say so myself.
2:41:08
Adam Curry: So let's just say
it's the great reset. It's an
2:41:11
American reset. Yeah, he sounds
like he's got to I mean, so
2:41:18
earlier today, we played the
clip, he says I'm going to
2:41:19
reorganize the CIA that I think
is is a key clue. I agree.
2:41:26
Because the CIA credibly
fragment to the CIA, and
2:41:30
John C Dvorak: he is not going
to abolish it. He's not going to
2:41:32
get rid of it. He's not going to
destroy it. He's not going to
2:41:34
take it down, which is all the
problems that you know, Nixon
2:41:37
had this was a CIA set him up
with the Watergate thing. If you
2:41:42
read the baker book, family of
standards, it has it all
2:41:46
outlined in there, what they did
to Russ Baker, I think Russ,
2:41:49
Russ Baker, great writer, and we
recommend one of the books we
2:41:54
recommend. And this is different
when you say I'm going to just
2:42:00
gonna do a reorg. I mean, do you
do that anyway, when you're
2:42:02
president by getting rid of the
head guy and putting your own
2:42:05
guy in there, but but there's
probably other thing he wants to
2:42:07
go more deeper in? And I think
he wants to get the work out of
2:42:12
the CIA?
2:42:13
Adam Curry: Well, yeah, I mean,
that Malone was on on Banyan
2:42:18
show. And I didn't clip it,
then. By the way, the fact that
2:42:22
Malone is out there now like an
expert on the CIA, talk about an
2:42:26
up. I mean, the guy's a
scientist. He was an angry
2:42:30
scientist who didn't get credit
for inventing co inventing mRNA.
2:42:35
And now he's doing speeches
everywhere. And now he's, he's,
2:42:38
John C Dvorak: oh, he's Oh,
yeah, he voiced to him as
2:42:42
Adam Curry: his free case, he
openly says, and his friends are
2:42:44
spooks. His friends, hey, you
got to come down to Wuhan. It's
2:42:48
cool down here. All right.
2:42:50
John C Dvorak: When he said when
he gave me the clip that we had,
2:42:53
this was on Romney months ago,
but the clip where he goes on
2:42:56
and on about how the mRNA is a
platform that the CIA needs
2:43:03
because of chemical or
biological warfare weapons that
2:43:06
may be coming our way. Here's
the clip.
2:43:08
Unknown: So that's, that's the
battlefield. That's the real
2:43:11
environment we're in. So we have
to have some technology to
2:43:15
enable rapid response. And we
need to have capabilities that
2:43:18
can be deployed at the
population level. This RNA Tech
2:43:23
was one of the ones together
with monoclonal antibodies that
2:43:28
the government has long believed
had huge potential to enable
2:43:32
that type of rapid response.
They actually like monoclonal
2:43:35
antibodies better, the idea
behind monoclonal antibodies
2:43:39
that they really like because
you can administer these
2:43:41
products to a special forces
group, they go in theater, do
2:43:44
their business, come back out,
go see their wife, monoclonal
2:43:47
antibodies gone, it's clear, the
problem is that the technology
2:43:51
just has not performed. The
monoclonal antibody technology
2:43:55
is too kludgy. It's too
cumbersome. And what we've
2:43:58
learned over the last three
years is that viruses and
2:44:01
pathogens can evolve to escape
that fairly rapidly because
2:44:04
they're fairly specific. Okay,
we've all seen viral evolution
2:44:08
in real time we experienced it.
So that's the unmet medical need
2:44:12
that is being attempted at least
that's the justification
2:44:16
underlying this is that there is
an unmet need for some
2:44:20
technology that will now allow
rapid response to both emerging
2:44:25
pathogens and engineered
pathogens such as bio warfare,
2:44:29
or terrorism based pathogens.
2:44:32
Adam Curry: I love the troll
room Murray and Dude, your
2:44:34
family is a bunch of spooks by
that logic, no agendas and up.
2:44:39
John C Dvorak: We wish Where's
where's my money?
2:44:41
Adam Curry: Where's my check?
2:44:43
John C Dvorak: I want to remind
anyone in the intelligence
2:44:45
community
2:44:46
Adam Curry: that we accept your
donation,
2:44:48
John C Dvorak: it's pronounced
clue G. clergy, not clergy. So
2:44:55
this is someone who read the
Word and decided that they knew
2:44:57
how to pronounce it.
2:44:59
Adam Curry: So let's Let's look
at this from a different angle.
2:45:02
Presuming he's an OP Bobby, the
K is an OP. That that's never
2:45:08
going to be good for the
American people. So what? Of
2:45:11
course not it's, it's never
gonna be good. There's always a
2:45:15
downside. Now, is it going to be
climate change? Is that what
2:45:20
he's gonna go all in on? Will
the will the if he's president
2:45:23
if he's elected president? Will
Will it be the climate change
2:45:27
angle that he's going to? You
know, here's the things I hear
2:45:30
not only here to push backs
about from Maga from Maga
2:45:33
country
2:45:34
John C Dvorak: now yeah
2:45:37
Adam Curry: he's a globalist I
hear this a lot. He's a
2:45:39
globalist.
2:45:41
John C Dvorak: I think that
probably true.
2:45:43
Adam Curry: definitely true. And
he's gonna throw all climate
2:45:46
skeptics in jail.
2:45:48
John C Dvorak: Yeah, that's a
lie.
2:45:50
Adam Curry: Yeah, I know it.
That's, it's, there's no
2:45:52
evidence of it. But that's
2:45:53
John C Dvorak: it. There's no
evidence and I think it's one of
2:45:55
those things, they're going to
pull the rug out from under to
2:45:58
get to turn people you know,
what you do is you set him up in
2:46:02
pisaq. He did it with that clip,
I played the last show where she
2:46:05
goes on with all this, all this
bull crap. And I think the idea
2:46:09
is you okay, let that slide out
there and see how many people
2:46:11
subscribe to it. And then you
pull the rug out from under him
2:46:14
and say, No, look, it's
absolutely not true. What? Yeah,
2:46:19
it's a good trick.
2:46:20
Adam Curry: I'd love the trolls
to chime in. But there's there's
2:46:23
a lot of not a lot of love for
Bobby decay in the troll room.
2:46:26
I'll tell you that
2:46:26
John C Dvorak: yet.
2:46:30
Adam Curry: Let's see coming for
your guns? No way. I don't think
2:46:35
he's gonna do that.
2:46:37
John C Dvorak: Nobody will.
Nobody has the guts to do that.
2:46:41
Adam Curry: But I mean, man, I
mean, it's when I hear him. It's
2:46:45
like, he listened to no agenda
for 10 years and said, okay,
2:46:48
everything these guys are
saying, I'm just gonna go on
2:46:50
podcasts and save this. What
they said is all true. So, I
2:46:56
don't know. I don't know. Who
knows, maybe he maybe is the
2:47:01
ultimate queue. The queue up,
but I don't know.
2:47:04
John C Dvorak: And here's
another good when Trump got
2:47:08
Trump into tapes to pider
2:47:10
Adam Curry: Well, hold on, let
me let me do this quickly. I've
2:47:12
got the hills rising. This was
an interesting clip about the
2:47:18
most recent issues Trump is
having on
2:47:20
Unknown: the retention point. I
think the best comparison is not
2:47:24
even between Trump and Biden and
Trump or, or Trump and Pence.
2:47:29
It's actually between Trump and
Obama. Because Obama also had
2:47:33
taken classified documents when
he left office, even actually,
2:47:37
while he was still president,
and had them rented in a private
2:47:42
are in a rented private facility
called the Hoffman estates. And
2:47:46
when the National Archives
discovered that Obama had these
2:47:50
documents, they didn't try to
negotiate getting them all back.
2:47:53
Instead, what they did is they
actually worked out this deal,
2:47:57
where Obama was able to keep the
documents at the Hoffman
2:48:00
estates, but the National
Archives technically had
2:48:03
ownership of them and had
stewardship of them. So Obama
2:48:06
still had possession of them
still had access to them. But
2:48:10
Nora was technically in charge.
And so to me, it seems like the
2:48:15
the correct analogy here would
be that Nora and Trump were
2:48:19
going through this negotiation
of how he could properly secure
2:48:23
the documents, of which ones he
needed to return in which ones
2:48:27
they were allowed to keep. And
that was the process that was
2:48:29
taking place before that Mar
Lago raid by the DOJ. And yet,
2:48:35
the difference here is that
Trump is now being indicted for
2:48:38
retaining the documents, whereas
Obama was allowed to keep them.
2:48:41
So why was Nara so insistent
that Trump wasn't allowed to
2:48:45
have any of these in his
possession when the previous
2:48:48
standard would suggest
otherwise?
2:48:50
Adam Curry: Yeah, that sounds
like a double standard. Yeah, by
2:48:55
the way,
2:48:56
John C Dvorak: I just had a
Ferris is never going to end I
2:48:58
just had
2:48:58
Adam Curry: a crazy thought. If
Bobby The K says he's going to
2:49:03
be the podcast president, I
mean, and he's, he's literally
2:49:06
going back in our archives and
listening to the crazy crap
2:49:09
we've talked about. And he's
saying the same thing. Maybe
2:49:11
he's waiting for us to tell him
what to do. Maybe he's just
2:49:14
sitting at home listening. What
should we What should his next
2:49:18
movie actually
2:49:19
John C Dvorak: unbeknownst to
us? Yes, we are. We're leading
2:49:22
the OP. That's right.
2:49:25
Unknown: I'm gonna show my
school by donate to no agenda.
2:49:28
Imagine all the people who could
do that. Oh, yeah, that'd be
2:49:31
fun.
2:49:39
John C Dvorak: We do have a few
people with me for show 1577
2:49:42
Starting with jaunty s in
Orlando, Florida. $170 Linden
2:49:48
rice from Saskatoon
Saskatchewan. comes in with 115
2:49:54
is a de douching and douching
you've been de douche. He needs
2:50:01
to call out Darnell as a
douchebag Okay, now he ended up
2:50:07
with some random note that I'm
not going to read so this is not

place and and the two two of the

servers were helping him tape
our heads he printed out big
2:57:49

everybody is saying yeah, baby,
3:01:26
like a potty. Okay. You guys, I
suppose I have one. How will
3:01:35
this play your one first? What
is this?
3:01:37
John C Dvorak: I thought it was
this is Stewie Griffin. I
3:01:39
thought this would be an odd
mall ISO.
3:01:41
Unknown: I'll have what she's
having.
3:01:46
Adam Curry: It's odd ball. It's
all ball for sure. While it's
3:01:50
clear, which is always a good
thing. I have three and see
3:01:54
they're not all great. What is
this one?
3:01:56
Unknown: Yeah, no, I couldn't
agree more. Now.
3:02:00
Adam Curry: That one is Tucker
about this one. Strong number
3:02:03
two. And this one I think is the
best. It's very
3:02:07
Unknown: hard to control people.
3:02:11
John C Dvorak: For shitty ISOs
3:02:13
Adam Curry: which one do I like
Kara Swisher at the end kind of
3:02:17
you giving her? Too much credit.
3:02:21
John C Dvorak: Give me the
Tucker one again.
3:02:23
Adam Curry: Oh, no. I hate that
one. I don't want it.
3:02:26
John C Dvorak: Okay, wait, wait
Give it play it you're all of
3:02:29
them you should be except was
the first one
3:02:31
Adam Curry: and the first one
was that that this one is
3:02:36
stronger to
3:02:38
John C Dvorak: know about this
for an idea. I do think Kara
3:02:41
Swisher one and then play
Stewie.
3:02:45
Adam Curry: That's a real
compromise. Let me see. Yeah,
3:02:49
this is too long.
3:02:52
Unknown: It's very hard to
control people.
3:02:55
I'll have what she's having.
3:02:58
Adam Curry: Okay. Oddly, oddly
funny. Oddly funny. Oh, that
3:03:05
works. Mmm hmm.
3:03:11
Unknown: Well, I've
3:03:11
John C Dvorak: got one kind of
an interesting double clip here.
3:03:13
That might be okay as Yeah,
where's the discussion just to
3:03:16
get out so there's been this
clip floating around since 2019
3:03:24
And so I took the clip and I ran
it through Adobe it turns out
3:03:28
that Adobe has more than a
little trouble with just RF K
3:03:33
Jr. Oh, and I want to play these
I guess right two versions of
3:03:38
this the same clip one through
Adobe enhanced and then the
3:03:41
original I want to play the
original and this is where Biden
3:03:44
goes off after some guy wants to
do push ups and take him to the
3:03:48
gym to beat him up. Oh this
3:03:49
Adam Curry: is the like the the
union guy or something yeah his
3:03:54
face okay, let's have a listen
to this you get no experience in
3:04:07
order to get access to the
press, is that Biden? That
3:04:12
doesn't even sound like Biden oh
3:04:14
John C Dvorak: that's the guy
asked the question. Hunter
3:04:17
working for a burrito Oh,
3:04:19
Adam Curry: I remember Okay,
here we go
3:04:30
oh, this was a different guy.
3:04:52
John C Dvorak: Right, that was
pretty horrible. That was
3:04:54
pronounced that now if you
remember, this is in 2019 when
3:04:58
we're actually before that to
about 20 in it we kept both of
3:05:01
us complained bitterly about who
was making Biden
3:05:04
Adam Curry: Jess and we thought
the audio audio guys were doing
3:05:08
it on purpose is what we've what
we figured.
3:05:11
John C Dvorak: Yeah. So I so
that's a very equity thing now
3:05:14
so I said well let me just run
it through Adobe and Adobe. This
3:05:18
is very funny because it starts
off promising where you can hear
3:05:22
the guy that first guy very
clearly, and then it devolves
3:05:26
into like, the weird is stuff
it's not like noise you can't
3:05:30
understand a word of it. You
don't know what they're saying
3:05:33
they're mumbling This is
unbelievable,
3:05:36
Unknown: but you went yesterday
and sent your son over there
3:05:41
wow, this is so quick that's on
he doesn't he had no experience
3:05:45
with where I said nothing
3:05:47
Adam Curry: by the way, so some
of that is weird. I want people
3:05:51
to know that the because this is
a native ad for a doobie John
3:05:55
and I don't take any money for
any product or anything we never
3:05:59
have we're not interested in it
and when you hear us either
3:06:03
saying we'd like a product or
saying we hate a product is
3:06:06
because that's our actual
opinion that's the beauty of our
3:06:08
model so we are lauding the
Adobe product or have been and
3:06:12
now it seems like we might not
be let's find out well he
3:06:17
John C Dvorak: started over
because you're right it started
3:06:19
sounds wow this is this is guys
cleaned up and then he starts
3:06:23
just saying mumbo jumbo that I
know he wasn't saying now that's
3:06:27
that's
3:06:27
Adam Curry: your AI everybody
but you want
3:06:29
Unknown: the other day sexual
sound over there pretty drab and
3:06:35
brass tone he doesn't yes
3:06:38
Adam Curry: that's where Adobe
breaks down headed by the tube
3:06:41
DAB death he had no experience
3:06:43
Unknown: with where I served
nothing nothing in the lead the
3:06:49
true get access with Watson.
You're you're showing helps us
3:06:55
to wrestle with this white being
fired out of the duty leaders
3:07:05
out there you know, I know. It's
Florida.
3:07:10
Adam Curry: Can I stop this and
we heard enough.
3:07:13
John C Dvorak: It's just too
much.
3:07:15
Adam Curry: It's got to stop
this insanity.
3:07:19
John C Dvorak: That Adobe sucks.
Is that some of the native ad
3:07:23
you're telling us? Yeah, I guess
it has his moments in this. It
3:07:26
does have its moments. Not
moments. It has its limitations.
3:07:31
Yes. This
3:07:31
Adam Curry: is not one of its
moments. Without is we've got an
3:07:35
excellent end of show makes Bill
mountainy he's back we've got
3:07:40
Leola puke he's back and Steve
