Clothespins... aka C47's
Adam, I heard that banter about clothespins being used to tighten up Muir's shot with the fireman's jacket.
Seems like a good time to bring to your attention the 2008 book "Movie Speak How to Talk Like You Belong on a Film Set" by Tony Bill (Oscar winning producer of "The Sting"). I'm blessed to have an autographed copy he signed to me. You may be aware of it, but it also may never have fallen within your gaze. It's a dictionary of sorts a crew member might look at to figure out what just got said.
I attached an image of the cover, and entry on page 32 for C47:
C47: "Probably the oldest unmodified piece of filmmaking equipment still in use, a wooden clothes pin. One legend has it that an accountant, tired (or afraid) of explaining the purchase of a large quantity of clothes pins, called them C47s on the purchase order. Another story is that since they are often tossed from one crew member to another (flown, in set parlance) they were named after the world war II military version of the DC 3. Ubiquitous on sets, from the meanest to the most high-tech. There is a more modern version of the c47 called a "grip clip" it's made of metal and probably more useful but not nearly as cool and an inverted clothes pin is called a c74 seriously."
Knowing all the terms in this book has allowed me to "wrap my brain around production" in a much more practical way.

seen it all. Yeah, Yeah, I've got footage of you doing embarrassing things in your room (nice setup, by the way). I then
developed videos and screenshots where on one side of the screen, there's the videos you were enjoying, and on the other
part, it is you doing filthy things. With simply a single click, I can send this video to all of your contacts.
I feel your worry and confusion. Genuinely, I am willing to wipe the slate clean, and allow you to get on with your life and
forget you ever existed. I am going to give you two options.
First Alternative is to turn a blind eye to my e mail. Let us see what is going to happen if you pick this path. Your video will
get sent to your contacts. The video is lit, and I can't even fathom the humiliation you'll endure when your colleagues, friends,
and fam check it out. But hey, that's life, ain't it? Don't be playing the victim here.
Option 2 is to pay me, and be confidential about it. We will name it my “keep the secret feeâ€. Now let me tell you what

Statement from NSC Spokesperson Sean Savett on Anomalous Health Incidents | The White House
We will be briefing the incoming Administration on the full scope of ongoing work that should continue, as well as additional areas of focus recommended by the Intelligence Community experts panel, which found that a subset of anomalous health incidents cannot be easily explained by known environmental or medical conditions and that pulsed electromagnetic or acoustic energy remains a plausible explanation in certain cases. As with other health challenges faced by U.S. personnel that took years to diagnose, sustained clinical, research, and investigative work is necessary to clarify what caused the symptoms our colleagues have reported, develop effective medical interventions, and prevent future incidents. Our brave colleagues and their families, who suffered real and sometimes serious injuries, deserve no less.
