Podcast deconstruction feedback
it has occurred to me to wonder if moving toward including podcast content in the show might alienate more listeners. in recent months NA has analyzed clips from three podcasts that i listen to, have highly favorable thoughts about, and feel loyalty towards. one aspect of the NA humor is the disparaging tone used when analyzing media. this works well for me as a listener because i realize what junk the M5M has become and so i enjoy it. it is uncomfortable to hear someone you admire and respect go after someone else you admire and respect in that tone.

Was on a call this week about a building that was
originally approved for $100 million. Our project team now has to go
back and get $20 mil more to cover the cost of the steel. The swing in
cost caused a lot of churn, but we're settled in on an American
supplier.
On the call, a structural engineer
mentioned that the cheap Chinese I-beams we've used in the past to hold
up our buildings have been flaking off, citing an older building where
flakes of steel can be found on the floor around the facility. If the
steel is better quality, he said, we should just pay the extra money for
it, since going back and remediating older buildings would be very
disruptive and expensive.
I'm all for better quality at a fair price, especially since a building that caves in on itself is bad for the slaves.

This bill generally prohibits the nonconsensual online publication of intimate visual depictions of individuals, both authentic and computer-generated, and requires certain online platforms to promptly remove such depictions upon receiving notice of their existence.
Specifically, the bill prohibits the online publication of intimate visual depictions of
an adult subject where publication is intended to cause or does cause harm to the subject, and where the depiction was published without the subject’s consent or, in the case of an authentic depiction, was created or obtained under circumstances where the adult had a reasonable expectation of privacy; or
a minor subject where publication is intended to abuse or harass the minor or to arouse or gratify the sexual desire of any person.
Violators are subject to mandatory restitution and criminal penalties, including prison, a fine, or both. Threats to publish intimate visual depictions of a subject are similarly prohibited under the bill and subject to criminal penalties.
Separately, covered platforms must establish a process through which subjects of intimate visual depictions may notify the platform of the existence of, and request removal of, an intimate visual depiction including the subject that was published without the subject’s consent. Covered platforms must remove such depictions within 48 hours of notification. Under the bill, covered platforms are defined as public websites, online services, or applications that primarily provide a forum for user-generated content.
The Rhythmn BOTG
The middle and high schoolers don’t seem to use terms algo or algorithm or feed. They are calling it “The rhythm”.
This obviously shows that they know what it is. They use it in phrases like, “my rhythm is showing me this”.
Just thought I’d share.
I heard an 8th grader use this term and mentioned it to a few high schoolers and they confirmed the term usage.

Just listened to your Iron Dome Vs Golden Dome presentation on episode 1771 at the 48 min 30 second mark. You are correct in your concept, but incorrect in your nomenclature.
Iron dome is out. There is only Golden Dome. Golden Dome is very broad. There are multiple layers. Perhaps Sea, land, Air, space, and cyber space may draw a better picture of the concept’s correct nomenclature.
