Not sure if you guys are going to cover the death of Charlie Kirk today, but I just wanted to give a quick perspective from a mom of gen z kids.
I credit Charlie Kirk with getting my daughter out of the trans cult. She left for university two years ago telling me to prepare for her to go on hormones. She said we needed to discuss a double mastectomy for her in the near future. Her chosen roommate was a girl who had just had this surgery and had been on hormones for a year.
Two years later she remains a bit dysphoric and not completely comfortable with her body, but she has gone back to the beautiful name I gave her at birth and calls herself a woman. The first time I heard Charlie Kirk was when I was standing outside of her room while she painted. She was listening to his podcast. I’m not saying he was the only force in her life that brought her back to us, but he had to have been a part of it. I started admiring him that very moment. By the way, her original roommate dropped out of college within months.
My 16 year old son is a fan of Charlie. Before yesterday, he was a casual fan. Today he is a devoted follower. All of his high school friends feel similarly.
My middle girl, also at university, is not particularly political, but called me yesterday crying, because she was shocked at the ugly statements about Charlie coming from people she thought were friends. She is witnessing the ugliness of the left in real time.
This guy was important to our young people. I don’t know what’s next.

Patriot Academy Threats
I suppose only the Lord of Rings fans will get the title.
Perhaps I should have simply pointed readers to the 2nd Chapter of
Nehemiah where Sanballat and the other enemies of Nehemiah tried slander
and threats to stop the rebuilding of the walls.
As Patriot Academy is
experiencing so much impact and results in our efforts to Rebuild
Liberty just in time for America’s 250th, opposition is expected and
even welcomed as a sign we are certainly over the target.
But I honestly never
thought I would see people publicly calling for the murder of our young
Patriots and the bombing and burning down of the Patriot Academy Campus.
In the wake of the
betrayal of the Kendall County Judge completely reversing his vote and
promise to support Constitution City, a firestorm of opposition has been
stirred up against Patriot Academy and our efforts to teach the
Constitution to citizens of all ages.
Burn it down.
Better drop a bomb on them now.
We’ll re-enact the Waco incident.
Maybe they’ll all kill each other and do the rest of us a favor.
Nuke it.
Murderable. Let them die by their bigotry.
Build a wall around them and light it up.
This needs to be destroyed.
That is just a small sampling of over 1,300 comments from just the last few days.
Patriot Academy faces an
existential threat from the anti-American enemies of freedom who hate
the idea of teaching the principles of liberty. While the physical
threats are concerning and must be taken seriously, the real battle is
the slanderous defamation of Patriot Academy combined with the lawfare
and regulatory quagmire being used to stop our momentum.
What began as a few
naysayers against the incorporation of Constitution City (the elites may
have delayed us, but we are undeterred), is quickly snowballing into an
avalanche of opposition from both the marxists and the country club
elites who love to oppose anything that was not their idea. Thanks to
the wisdom in the book of Nehemiah, and our thirty years in the
political trenches, we know how to properly launch a counter-offensive
and ultimately win this war for the hearts and minds of our fellow
Americans.
Unfortunately, this new
battlefield takes time, attention, and significant resources away from
the actual civics education in the classroom, but it will be an
education in civics in so many other ways. The. Citizens of Constitution
City will be able to learn a lot as we deal with these Sanballats,
Tobiahs, and Geshems (see Nehemiah 2).
We will continue to “arise and build” and we’ll be happy warriors just as Ronald Reagan said nearly forty years ago.

Noting local concern was over sovereignty and not Hamas leadership. Nobody cares about or likes Hamas - Qatar just agreed to try to mediate knowing Hamas is insincere in all talks.
Note that not one country has suggested pulling out of the Abraham Accords with Israel since the war began nor do they care about the attack on Iran.
Separately, a significant number of those reported killed in Gaza are the Hamas fighters (and probably family members).
Indifference toward death outside the western world is pretty common. Anyone want to discuss Sudan or Congo deaths?

"According to a January arrest record, Brown told responding officers
during a welfare check that he believed someone gave him 'man-made'
material that was inside his body, controlling when he ate, walked, and
talked."

"Despite $30–40 billion in enterprise investment into GenAI, this report uncovers a surprising
result in that 95% of organizations are getting zero return. The outcomes are so starkly
divided across both buyers (enterprises, mid-market, SMBs) and builders (startups, vendors,
consultancies) that we call it the GenAI Divide. Just 5% of integrated AI pilots are extracting
millions in value, while the vast majority remain stuck with no measurable P&L impact. This
divide does not seem to be driven by model quality or regulation, but seems to be
determined by approach.
Tools like ChatGPT and Copilot are widely adopted. Over 80 percent of organizations have
explored or piloted them, and nearly 40 percent report deployment. But these tools
primarily enhance individual productivity, not P&L performance. Meanwhile, enterprise-
grade systems, custom or vendor-sold, are being quietly rejected. Sixty percent of
organizations evaluated such tools, but only 20 percent reached pilot stage and just 5
percent reached production. Most fail due to brittle workflows, lack of contextual learning,
and misalignment with day-to-day operations."

Frontier insider on content and pipes
Been listener and producer for more than 13 years and wanted to let you know you
are correct. The old school model for content has been shifting for a
while, but it will make some very big shifts in the near future. The big Telco players
have been on a shopping spree for example we are being acquired by
Verizon whilst AT&T and T-Mobile are doing their own spree.
In contrast to owning catalogs and selling "ads" (which don't get me wrong
still lucrative). They have discovered that you need to own the "pipes"
now, because utilizing an old school model such as Discovery, CBS and
Paramount are bloated due to market saturation.
What do you grow when you can't grow your user base? As the available market
is somewhat captured or saturated. Well you expand to how much they
spend with you by shifting to a model that provides way more.
These guys are all about ARPU and EBITDA.
This "new" model goes way beyond the... Here I just give you content... it
goes to I give you content and I'll bundle more things to hook you and
get data. For example by allowing the content "creators" (news channels,
streaming companies, movie studios, etc.) to do what they do best as
content producers while the carrier just bundles it and sells it.
Plus then you throw in some data providing (value added services VAS) such
as bank-like functions (credit cards, savings accounts - guess what
PLAID), endpoint protection (anti-virus), as well as home security
devices and home routers. Then you have access to data... Lots of it.
Very interesting how the big players have moved from 5G being the thing (6G
will probably won't be ready beyond 2029), to controlling the internet
backbone in a way that can be monetized from both consumers and
producers. Causing the producers (CBS, CNN, blah blah blah) some
heartburn and honestly some to collapse in the not too distant future.
Just wanted to share some information from boots on the ground.

I wanted to give you and John another item to add to your “list of things Gen Z can’t do”: reset a password.
I work at a college bookstore that sells textbooks, including digital
books. A Gen Z customer came in this semester and said the digital book
we sold her didn’t work. She then explained that she wasn’t able to log
in to the website that the book is hosted on. “I can’t remember my
password,” she tells me, “I guess I need to make a new account.” I asked
her if she had clicked the “forgot password” button, and she stared at
me as if I had just spoken in tongues. She clicks on the reset password
link and stares at me again like if I’m the only one who can do it.
“Just put your email in there so you can reset your password” I
instruct. She had absolutely no concept of what I was explaining and I
had to handhold her through the entire thing.
Being a member of Gen Z myself I am ashamed of my contemporaries for not even
being able to complete a basic task such as this. However, I place
blame primarily on parents who (unlike my awesome mom and dad) failed to
teach their children the basic skills they’d need in life.

Epstein
UK Ambassador Mandelson Expressed Support for Epstein, Emails Reveal
Now Bloomberg News has obtained more than 100 previously unreported emails between Epstein and Mandelson from 2005 through 2010, casting new light on the relationship between the two men and showing that it was deeper than previously known.
In one cryptic exchange, Epstein referred to an upcoming meeting between his lawyer and somebody he called “mr. big,” and told Mandelson, “I need your guy to remind him one time before the meeting.. then we are done.” Mandelson replied, “I will get a message. He is travelling at moment.” Neither “mr. big” nor “your guy” are named.
