The Epstein files reveal that Israel hijacked control of the Bitcoin network over a decade ago. Israel was paying the salaries of 60% of Bitcoin’s core developers and offered highly elusive gifts behind the scenes. This is very suspicious. Epstein and Israel were also major investors in Blockstream, a company that works with Tether and exerts significant influence over Bitcoin. They can manipulate the price by issuing unbacked Tether, control the network’s code because they hired most of the developers, and own a majority of the nodes. This suggests Israel likely has direct access to and influence over Bitcoin. The idea of “decentralization” is clearly illusory, and it is deeply concerning that the network could be manipulated by a single state operating behind the scenes.

I work for a Structural and Miscellaneous steel fabrication shop. We produce over a million tons of steel every year.
Last 4 months or so steel prices have been going up and steel supply has been going down. The levels have gone back to COVID days. Which was not good as you can imagine. Jobs we would normally have done in 2 months are being pushed back to July. It is already slowing down new construction. The high prices are also stopping new construction.
Our steel suppliers and the steel mills are telling us it's because of the data centers. The US government gets first pick of the steel. To be more specific the data centers are using very heavy steel sizes, because they require zero vibration in the buildings.
Just another example of what happens when a government artificially stimulates an industry. It kills it.

I'm pretty sure everyone at my company saw this article and now they all think we're in an AI crisis.
We're not in an AI crisis. We use Claude to summarize Slack threads.
But here's what's actually interesting: this whole panic reveals something nobody wants to admit.
Every company in America has been bullshitting about their "AI strategy" for two years.
We all saw the hype. We all knew we had to say something. So we rebranded our existing automation as "AI-powered" and called it a day.
My company isn't special. We're all doing the same thing.
The problem is now the executives actually believe their own bullshit. They think we have "significant AI exposure" because they've been telling investors we're "AI-first."
I just got pulled into an emergency meeting. Six executives asking me to explain our "AI dependency matrix."
There is no AI dependency matrix.
There's Claude for meeting summaries, there's some sentiment analysis in our support tickets that came free with Zendesk, and there's whatever Gmail is doing when it autocompletes my sentences.
But I can't say that in a room full of people who told their boards we're "transforming the business through AI."
So I said we have "distributed AI touchpoints across multiple vendors with no single point of failure."
Which is technically true. We use a bunch of different services that all have AI features we mostly ignore.
The CFO asked if we should "hedge our AI exposure."
I have no idea what that means. Neither does he.
What am I going to do: nothing. Because in three weeks, Anthropic will say something reassuring, the stocks will recover, and everyone will forget this happened.
But I'll have documentation showing I recommended a "risk assessment" that mysteriously never got prioritized.
The funniest part is that half these executives probably don't even know what Anthropic is. They just saw "AI" and "crash" in the same headline.
We're all pretending. The whole industry is pretending.
And articles like this just remind everyone how fragile the pretending is.

Since the name Bad Bunny is part of the conversation this week, I think it is pertinent that you get some data. This is not for reading in NA, but to help you get some perspective.
Bad Bunny was a bagger in a supermarket in his hometown here in Puerto Rico. Then suddenly he became a music sensation. He has been marketed in a perfect way around the world. The interesting part is where the money for the marketing came from. BB is managed by a company called Rimas Entertainment. Now you should know about Rafael Jiménez-Dan, and below are a few notes that I got from Gemini:
Who is Rafael Jiménez-Dan?
Government Role: He served as the Vice Minister of Legal Security in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Justice in Venezuela between 2006 and 2013, during the presidency of Hugo Chávez.
Military Background: He is a retired captain of the Venezuelan Army and a graduate of the Military Academy.
Business in Music: In 2014, after leaving Venezuela and moving to Florida, he reportedly invested $2 million to help Noah Assad launch Rimas Entertainment. For years, he held a majority stake (estimated at 51% to 60%) in the company.
Why is this in the news?
The connection became public knowledge around 2022 due to a high-profile lawsuit filed by Gretchen Hernández (Noah Assad's former partner), who sought a share of the company's assets. The legal filings detailed the initial investment from Jiménez-Dan.
The rumor in Puerto Rico is that the money that created the success of Bad Bunny came from Venezuela. In Puerto Rico, politically, we are divided into three groups: There is a smaller group that would like PR to be completely independent from the USA. There is a group that wants the relationship to be "improved" but not becoming independent or becoming a state of the USA, and the bigger group is 53% of the population of PR who in the elections of November 2025 voted in favor of PR becoming the 51st state of the USA.
For years, Venezuela, Cuba, and other countries had presented resolutions in the United Nations supporting the independence of Puerto Rico, so it is not crazy to think that Venezuela could work to try to get PR out of any influence of the USA.
Bad Bunny is notorious in his campaigns against anything related to the USA, but he likes living there. You can search about his properties in the states, probably obtained with the Venezuelan money. In PR, the party that promotes statehood is the PNP, which is the party that won the last three elections. Weeks before the elections of 2024, Bad Bunny paid an amount near $500,000 for some messages in billboards in the main highways of PR against the PNP. The message was a single sentence: "Muerte al PNP" Death to the PNP. For a political campaign, that was a big amount of money. He also supported the parties that were pro-independence.
I can't tell if the plan from Venezuela was just to use Bad Bunny as their spokesperson against anything related to the USA, or if Bad Bunny is even used for laundering drug money. The amount of money produced by his concerts is absurd.
In 2024, he was on a world tour, and several concerts in the USA were cancelled because the tickets were not selling. Then in 2025, the Residency of Bad Bunny in PR came, which was really a success, and he sold 30 concerts here, which is not an easy thing to do. People travelled here from many countries. During that time, he said that he was not going to tour the states because he didn't want to give Trump the opportunity to the concerts. The truth is that the arrangements for having all the concerts in PR and not touring the states were taken in August 2024, as it was mentioned in some interviews published later in 2025 talking about how the plans were made so that everything was a secret until the date of the announcement.
In Puerto Rico, you can find a similarity with the way that politics are run in the states. The artists and media here are all opposed to the PNP, just as media and artists are opposed to the GOP in the States. The difference is that the PNP originally was founded by people that supported the Republican Party, but in the 80s, some leaders of the PNP moved to the Democratic Party, I think, to have influence in both major parties of the USA.
Sorry for the long message. As I mentioned, the info is not worth reading in NA, but I think it will explain some things about Bad Bunny, and how he won this week the Best Album Grammy that for the first time was won by a production completely in Spanish, and how he will be the star of the Half Time show in the Super Bowl. There is a lot of money moving him. Obviously, you can expect a political message against ICE and Trump in the Super Bowl. There is only one country that can defeat the United States of America, and it is the United States of America. Bad Bunny will do his part by trying to keep the people divided.
