Telegram privacy is iffy BOTG
Early team behind the start of Telegram, led by Nikolai Durov, "consists of six ACM champions, half of them Ph.Ds in math", as said by Telegram.
However, they are not cryptographers. Only a handful of real cryptographers exist around the world today and as well back in 2013. (John had it right about the PGP movement!)
Instead of using known standards what are well tested thoroughly, they tried to create something themselfs. There are weak parts and it will not supprise me if some 3-lettered agency has already compromised the Telegram security.
Another BIG RED FLAG is that by default the encryption of messeges is turned off! Turning it on only is possible in a chat to another person, but not in channels or groups. Thus there is no encryption possible in channels and groups! Only "secret chats" are encrypted, but again, the encryption is not strong.
Also known is that timestamps are logged with your mobile number and unencrypted messages on their closed-source servers. Of cource all photo's and other files you share will be storred for unlimited time, also unencrypted.

Linda Yaccarino - Wikipedia
She has a twin sister!
Yaccarino worked at Turner Entertainment for 15 years, becoming executive vice president and chief operating officer. She is credited with modernizing the company's ad sales strategies.[6][7] At Turner, she negotiated ad deals on the reboot of Conan O'Brien's late night comedy show.[4]
Yaccarino joined NBCUniversal in October 2011,[6] hired by then-CEO Steve Burke.[4] As the head of NBCUniversal's advertising sales, she led a department of over 2,000 people, and played a key role in the launch of the Peacock streaming service.[2][8] When Burke began planning stepping down as CEO, Yaccarino had made a bid to be his successor, but was she was not picked.[4] Though praised by advertisers and acknowledged as a hardworking saleswoman, associates from her time at NBCUniversal said her tenure was "marked by instability," with multiple reorganizations creating a decline in the culture of the department.[9]
Yaccarino joined the Ad Council in 2014. Yaccarino assumed the position of chair of the Ad Council's board of directors in January 2021, for a term that ran until June 30, 2022.[10] As chair, Yaccarino partnered with the Biden administration in 2021 to create a COVID-19 vaccination campaign that featured Pope Francis.[11]
In 2018, President Donald Trump appointed her to the President's Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition.[12]
While at NBCUniversal, advertising discussions with Netflix led to Netflix suggesting she take a job running its ad sales, but it did not go far and inspired her to take a career change, according to two of her former colleagues.[4]
She was ranked 58th on Fortune's list of Most Powerful Women in 2023.[13]
She may be the bad actor here and Elon doesn't even know it

The Photo-Verification System at the New Nightclub Badlands Prompts Questions About Privacy and Security—and Legality
Patronscan bills itself as the bouncer that never forgets a face. According to the Calgary, Alberta-based company (and the blue sign in the Badlands entrance), people’s personal information is permanently deleted from the Patronscan system within 21 days if they are not involved in an “incident.” If the customer is flagged in the system for, say, starting a fight, the bar can save their name, date of birth, gender, postal code and photo for up to five years (private flag). They may choose to share the data with other establishments for up to one year after the incident (public flag).

Resentment (DNC) BOTG
Aside from wishing you an awesome BIG birthday, I wanted to provide boots on the ground pertaining to Sunday's (8/25/24) show. I've mentioned to you in a previous note that I am a professional certified coach and help people release resentments and strengthen intuition. When you covered the DNC on Sunday, specifically the part where Beyoncé was promised to come, and didn't; my "resentment alert" went off.
Resentments are sneaky MFers. Most people don't realize how sinister and powerful they are. They also don't realize how many they have. (I had 600! when I originally documented them.) They hide in every nook and cranny, then proceed to change your characteristics, behaviors and way of thinking. After doing resentment work for some time, I'm (100%😉) sure they are the major blockages humans have that separate them from God, and being the person they were originally designed to be. (I also believe resentment is the cause of all wars.)
The problem with resentments is that they significantly and gravely reduce intuition, and people stop relying on the answers they have within, answers that come directly from God. What happens is voids are created and then filled with other things: abusive relationships, manipulative influences, substance abuse, bodily harm, tech/phone addictions etc. People with significant and seething resentments become lost, and they stray away from positive core values and behaviors that would enhance and elevate their lives.
How this relates to the segment on your show is that when the democrats spread a rumor that Beyoncé or Taylor Swift will be performing, and that does not become a reality; an expectation is set, but not met--this is what directly causes resentment. Now, I don't think many of those who attended (mainly our youth), or even those that were watching on tv hoping to see it come true, will be pushed to go vote for Trump over this. However, the resentment that was created _could_ subconsciously influence them not to vote at all, which could be damaging to the democrats.
What I wrote above may be too long to read on the show, but if you find it valuable, this is a bulleted summary:
- Resentments are sneaky MFers
- They change your characteristics, behaviors and way of thinking
- They create spiritual voids that people fill with destructive habits
- Expectations that are set and not met, instantly become resentments
- Don't dismiss resentment because it can subconsciously drive you to do / not do things you normally wouldn't/would
- This move by the democrats could _actually_ affect their voter turnout
Keep rockin'! BPITU! :)

Joy BOTG
The ”joy” thing is pretty easy. It’s a white fragility buzz word that started with “black joy” a few years ago.
As part of “decolonizing your bookshelf” you’re supposed to replace that material with books that show “black joy”. I think the reason Harris is using it is to cement her as status as black.
It also serves a dual purpose as a bulwark to say that anyone criticizing her cackle is against “black joy”.
I’ve been hearing the term “black joy” from Melissa’s woke school for about 4 years now.
Boots on the ground … Minnesota state fair
The Great Minnesota Get Together … I believe it’s one of the largest state fairs in the country.
My wife and I went for the second time yesterday and along with pronto pups, cheese curds and foot long weiners, the people watching is off the charts!
I was really keeping an eye out for Harris/Walz shirts, hats. You’d think with one our own being part of a major ticket, there would be overwhelming support, right? Right! I believe Minnesota was the only state that went blue with the Mondale/Ferraro ticket. Mondale was a senator from here.
Well, boots on the ground report, there were about as many people wearing “Dump Walz”, “Never Walz”, “yer killing me Walz” and Trump shirts as there were wearing Harris/Walz apparel.
There is even a “Never Walz” booth

Trump
Trump new indictment BOTG from Rob
Adam—Hey dude! Moments ago, a new grand jury issued a superseding indictment against Trump for the J6 case (very short article attached). Jack Smith is clearly a true believer. Will the M5M report this as a huge development? In my opinion, it’s not. Here’s why:
- Under the SCOTUS ruling, the charges can’t go forward unless Smith can show that the alleged conduct is either (1) an unofficial act or (2) an official act that doesn’t fall “within the outer perimeter of [the President’s] official responsibility” and is “not manifestly or palpably beyond his authority.”
- As I mentioned in my July 2 email (below), this is a difficult burden for Smith to satisfy. The “outer perimeter”/“beyond his authority” language captures a vast range of presidential conduct, so it will very likely encompass the conduct alleged in the new indictment. To the extent it does, the courts must presume that Trump is immune—and Smith will have to overcome that presumption. Tall order.
- And don’t forget, there’s still the lingering issue raised by Justice Thomas that Jack Smith’s appointment is invalid under Article II’s Appointments Clause because there’s no law that establishes Smith’s office. Recall that Judge Cannon adopted this finding when she dismissed the Florida classified-information case. Expect Trump’s lawyers to aggressively pursue this angle in the District Court of DC.
- If Trump wins the election, this case will die. DOJ doesn’t prosecute sitting presidents as a matter of policy, and let’s face it, strings will be pulled.
**One other thing you and JCD should keep in mind:** If the M5M and Dems claim that this is a nail in Trump’s coffin, then they’ll have to retreat from their incompatible claim that SCOTUS gave Trump total freedom to do whatever he wants. That is, if he can do whatever he wants with impunity, then this new indictment is meaningless because he’s immune. By contrast, if the indictment _does_ pose a real threat to Trump, then SCOTUS obviously didn’t give him the free pass that the M5M and Dems have been describing.

Lab grown diamonds BOTG
Hi Adam,
I am a newcomer to the show and have been really enjoying your podcast.
In the most recent episode you were talking about diamonds and asked if there are any experts available for some input on lab grown diamonds.
I grew up in the diamond industry and worked as an adult within this industry for years (although I quit a few years ago due to vaccine pressure from work and a bunch of other stuff).
Lab grown diamonds are a great way to sell jewellery to people who cannot afford the price tag of natural diamonds. They are also a good way for jewellers to make money, as you can slap on a huge markup to a Lab grown and it will still come out cheaper than the real thing.
However, when people get divorced and try to sell their lab grown diamond back to a jewellery shop, they will find out it is basically worthless and although some companies will buy back lab growns, they will only do so at next to nothing as there is no real value in them.
The whole point of the value of a natural diamond is that it is rare. There is nothing rare about growing a diamond in a lab!
Also, I will put money on some men buying a huge lab grown diamond for their girlfriend not telling them, then when said girlfriend comes to have her ring valued and finds out its really not worth anything at all as it isn’t natural, she will hit the roof!
Natural diamonds will always win over the synthetic ones with elites and people who wish they were elite. It’s like buying a fake handbag that looks so real, just like a real fendi, even made in the same factory…….but, you know, it’s fake!
Best Wishes,
Jessica
