1957 Valencia flood - Wikipedia
The 1957 Valencia flood (Spanish: gran riada de Valencia; Valencian/Catalan: Gran Riuada de València) was a natural disaster that occurred on 14 October 1957 in Valencia, Spain. The flood resulted in significant damage to property and caused the deaths of at least 81 people. In response to the tragedy, the Spanish government devised and enacted the Plan Sur, which rerouted the city's main river, the Turia.
A large number of floods have been recorded in Valencia, from 1321 to 1897. Up to 75 floods are estimated to have taken place in the seven centuries prior to the 1957 flood

Virginia voter rolls BOTG Rob
Adam—Just got this report. SCOTUS just ruled that Virginia can continue with its operation of purging “self-identified noncitizens” from its voting rolls. You’d think that this was a no-brainer, but a federal district judge in Virginia found an administrative reason to halt the process. It’s called the “quiet period,” a 90-day period preceding the election when certain things aren’t allowed to happen. A panel of Fourth Circuit judges allowed the district judge’s order to stand. SCOTUS just vacated that order, allowing Virginia to finish the job.
I think we can expect a whole lot of election lawfare in the coming weeks.

Trump Shooter devices BOTG
A very interesting bit of info from a friend who works for a company
selling "wireless communication gear" to the government who had access
to the full unredacted congressional reports on the Crooks assisination
attempt. He says the shooter, Crooks, purchased 3 easily attainable
"devices" which he used to jam secret service (and local?) wireless
radio communications. Think about it, now a lot of the "fishy" stuff
makes sense. The reason stated for not releasing the information is
because, he says, the widespread panic this might cause as the same
encryption is used by banks, utilities, etc. This is the official
excuse, which sounds sketchy to me, as they just Jammed it, didn't hack
it, this source is not super technical so II believe they might just be
embarrassed how easy it was to do and don't want others to get similar
ideas.

Dani Katz on RFK Jr
Because he's a partner at Vantage Point Capital who is creating the "smart ocean". Because he partnered up with Nicole Shenanigan who is ALL about AI and digital solutions to "existential threats". Because he keeps harping on "climate change" which is as stupid and uninformed as his stance on Israel, which makes both stances make a semblance of sense. Because of Alison McDowell's tireless research on the topic. Because of his proximity to the PayPal mafia tech bros. I think Trump is being played, big time, by letting this particular fox (not to be confused with his CIA agent campaign manager, Amaryllis Fox), into the hen house. Because he's a known sociopath and liar who is positioned to make personal financial gains through said biometric security state. Because Steve "digital ID/central bank cryptocurrency" pays all the Children's Health Defense paychecks, and is also personally invested in the technofascist enslavement future. Have you checked out Alison's work? She's gone deeper into the gross, grimy truth of RFK than anyone I've yet seen.

BART COVID suit BOTG and fees
Adam—The BART COVID claims are probably based on Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which outlaws discrimination based on race, religion, national origin, and several other protected categories. I’ve been waiting for people to sue employers that discriminate against them for not going along with woke initiatives such as “pride” events (it happens more than you think).
Also, tell JCD that lawyers typically take 40% these days. 💸 #cha-ching

CrowdStrike Must Fight the Bear BOTG
Adam—Well, it looks like David Boies is done with writing letters to CrowdStrike. He’s taken the fight to court. Attached is the complaint filed in Georgia court. (Apparently, they publicly released an unsigned, undated draft.) Rather than write a long email, I’ve inserted highlights and notes explaining various legalities.
I will say this: You may want to share this with Dave Jones because it’s well-written and the two of you will geek out. The complaint touches on some nice techie stuff. It tells a pretty compelling story.
Lingering questions:
· I don’t know if Delta signed a EULA, but remember what I said: Fraud vitiates everything it touches. _And Delta is claiming fraud._
· This is in Georgia state court, Delta’s backyard. The judges are elected (so they accept campaign contributions). Trust me, CrowdStrike doesn’t want to litigate there. So I wonder whether the contract contains a “forum-selection clause” defining where the case must be litigated, and whether CrowdStrike can “remove” the case to federal court or have it dismissed on “_forum non conveniens_” grounds. I also wonder whether there’s an arbitration clause that would force the case out of court and into a (likely confidential) arbitration. Let’s wait for CrowdStrike’s next move.
· There are also the putative class actions pending, but I’m not current on those. If a court certifies a class, I’m sure we’ll hear about it.

Israel vs Everyone
Dude named Mohammed Checks is
ITM Gents,
Responding to your feedback on the response and as I predicted.
Fireworks from both sides, the Israeli reported massive damages and the Iranians showcased new missile defense technologies for potential customers who are interested in Russian, Chinese or even North Korean products.
Always done at night for best visuals, perhaps both agreed to do it when the sky is super clear to make sure both parties get the clearest shots possible.
As expected, the Israeli finished it up saying our response is completed, just like the Iranians before.
Turning this back to Iran again for another round.
This reminds me of Turn Based RPG games. And I think we can take the term "Role Playing Games" literally in this case.
Few weeks before the magic perfect phone call ;)

Over-classification + JIRA BOTG
ITM,
One motivation not discussed regarding over-classification of government documents: PURE LAZINESS. Every classified program has a native document called the Security Classification Guide (SCG), which literally spells out in black and white which markings to use with which topics. It can be a dozen pages or hundreds, but the onus is on the writer of the email or document to be familiar with what markings to use. People usually default to the highest classification because they were too lazy to read the SCG.
Regarding JIRA, it's EVERYWHERE, as well as the rest of the Atlassian suite of tools. It's the flagship tool for "Agile Development", so several years back it was forced on a lot of end users who didn't need. It's often used for things it wasn't designed for, like tracking logistics shipments or counting screws. When your only tool is a hammer, everything is a nail.
